That's a fair point, but you're missing the context. Trump hired Alina Habba, Pam Bondi, and Christina Bobb at various points in his recent trials. One of his biographers (might have been Michael Wolff) pointed out that he was not surrounding himself with white shoe lawyers, and Trump responded something to the effect of, "yeah, but look at them? Who has a better looking defense team?" So basically Trump hires female attorneys based on how they will look on TV and maybe how attractive he finds them. From there, yeah, we are making fun of them because they are good looking but incredibly shit at the job of lawyering. From there to OF accounts is maybe wishful thinking. We will do better in the future.

But, the point still stands. These ex employees that now come out to redeem their image, or sell a book fine you are confirming the leaks and the "anonymous sources" reporting we had already heard. But, that reluctance to tell the truth loudly and on the record made this orange bastard have the staying power he has. Millions of people that still support him wont care. Forbes article was interesting specifically for them calling out how much of a fraud he has always been. That he is obsessed with the ranking and lies to reporters every single year about his value. That is fine lying to reporters. But it backs up what the prosecutors in his fraud cases are alleging as well. He not only lies to the public/reporters. But crosses the line into lying on bank statements and business documents where it is a crime.

And what would happen if the judge catches Trump with an arrest warrant and NYPD officers on the ready to execte the warrant? Someone somewhere will have to enforce the law with plenty of stick, and we have to remember that the judiciary community is not particularly friendly to Trump and has little reason to be these days.

Have you seen the shit that’s been going on in that country in the last however many years? The politicians, the civil servants, the judges, the prosecutors, even the police, none of them give a feck about public trust.
They rely on the notion that “they’re all as bad as each other” and just brazenly lie about everything whilst continuing their corruption and illegal practices because they know nothing will ever come of it.
I’d love Trump to rot in prison, along with his shitc**t sons and myriad other people associated with him throughout the GOP and beyond, but there’s no chance it happens.
