Television Dexter

The more important question though is did you notice his Homer stubble.

 I'm not sure.

Do you mean at the bit where Dexter had him bound up? If so, I do recall thinking it looked familiar.

Opening sequence, he shaves then it grows back straight away.

Well not sure what to make of that episode. Not as good as I had hoped it would be but still better than recent ones.

Too much crap inbetween. This was just a filled episode to get to 12 for the season. In saying that, I can also I understand why they did that so we know why he will take to the present course.

what's happening is that Dexter, whom I would argue is a hedonistic thrill killer, is losing control of his activities, which is highly dangerous considering the importance of the ritual and control of his crime scenes.

I reckon that Lumen will have left prints at two crime scenes now, the one where Dexter planted evidence to ID her and now this latest one. She's a liability and Dexter is going to have to kill her, imo.

interstingly enough, his weakness appears to be women, who have always managed to disrupt his work, from Lila to Rita and now Lumen.

I don't know if they will go back to the crime scene but there definitely are finger prints on the hose she handled.
And yeah I can see it ending the way it did with Lila tbh. Women don't last too long on this show

Got Season 4 yesterday  Watched the first few episodes and so far it seems promising. Said that about Season 3 as well though and ended up a bit let down.

I really hate Rita though. So annoying. Still would though, obviously.

Heh, if only you knew.

Crackiong episode, all that situation tension leading up to Masuka was superb.

Very good episode, probably the best of the season so far. Masuka's explanation was

Imo, there's too many side stories in this season which seem irrelevant to Dexter or the main story. The chase of the 2 killers has not got anywhere for the past 3 weeks, Angel and Laguerta's love-hate relationship and Quinn suspecting Dexter of being a killer, but not getting far with his theory.

They should concentrate on Quinn chasing Dexter and Debra getting dragged into it, at the moment there seems to be too many things going on which can be cut out.

The thing about Dexter is that with one episode, so many of this knots can be tied and concluded without you noticing.

I don't thinks so, I think he will train her, probably even marry her.

Who'd have thught though, in the coming weeks we've got Robocop v Dexter.

Must say, it was a cracking episode, magnificently tense throughout. I've been highly disappointed with this series so far but that did seem to be getting things back on track.

Still...

Angel and La Guerta is still a steaming pile of dogshit of a story. La Guerta was never a great character to begin with, and she's turned Angel into a shit one too.
Quinn and Deb? Boring, don't care, Quinn is a cnut, presumably he'll be killed by Dexter at some point and Deb will go all whiney again just like she did after Dexter killed his bro/ice truck killer.

The show is becoming TOO reliant on Dexter and his plotlines now, because he's the only good character left. Luckily the episode yesterday focused on him hugely so it was brilliant, but I can't see that being the case the whole way through.

I thought the ended of season 4 was touching!! lol. Had to watch the start of season 5 this morning. Have some of you guys finished season 5 already?

Season 5 is only 6 episodes in.

But yeah, Masuka  One of the funniest scenes in the series.

Masuka had me cracking up  Also what Dexter did with the bodies was class. Great episode, still no Julia Stiles boobage, I hope it's imminent.

Just ended up watching the rest of season 4. Brilliant TV!

In the end, I was pretty sad that Rita went, although it wasn't unexpected. She'd gotten on my tits the past two seasons, but this season she settled down nicely and became much less irritating. Suppose this was always the intended path for her character tbf

As an aside, took a peek at the cast for season 5 and I see Jonny Lee Miller and Peter Weller! Which is definitely the sex, I love both those guys, and I ain't seen them in anything for a while. Pretty much exactly how I felt about Lithgow being cast for season 4.

This episode brought everything into proper context. Now Dexter knows who to look for and they also know him.
The next episode will be avatar like lol. (Kanye West)

Fantastic episode

Good to see bitch Laguerta is back. The Deb/Quinn story line is getting very interesting because the two conflicting aspects of Quinn's life are careening towards each other. He isn't going to get both thats for sure. Dex's relationship is also fascinating, does he see her replacing Rita? Does he see helping her as a form of catharsis for himself. He sees the Nanny as more of a replacement mother for Harrison so I'm really interested to see where this goes beyond the sidekick killer theme

Yeah really good episode. The season has shaped up nicely.
