Isn't your light level over 292? Should be fine! Plus when we do the raid some of us might luck out and get the ghost shell from the early chest which'll raise the light even more

Would be up for it but I'm currently only about 260, should be able too push up quite a bit tomorrow though.
Yeah its easy enough to push up with a few heroic strikes plus there's a quest you can get a 300 weapon from (shotty or fusion rifle). Can't remember which one it is exactly

Beat Oryx finally! Get in. Got an auto rifle and a chest piece that I already had along with some other stuff. Bit of a disappointing drop really. Up to 300 light though.

depends on the availability of @christy87, @TheSwagginator, @Adam-Utd and any others. Hopefully something can be done but need to get responses from people first so know whats definitely going on and whenout atm. hopefully be back before 5 can be free from the onwards
Think I'm going to get back late tonight, probably past midnight so it's likely a no go for me. Sunday night I could only do after like 11 or maybe half 10 but I probably shouldn't really as I'll be late at uni on the following day. Could still give t a crack though and say feck that. Depends on everyone else though, you get together a group then feel free to go for it and don't worry about me mate

Once you hit 300 light, any exotic engrams you pick up turn into 310 light stuff.
Telesto will definitely be the first weapon I'll try to get to 310. Really turned the SABER boss into a joke.
I have that as well, it's hilarious at all times.
Spraying it on the floor, walls, other guardians when surrounded, the void doors so spawning enemies walk straight into it, it's brilliant.

I've run out of quests to do other than online ones, bit gutted at that for now as I can't be arsed to start doing my other two characters upto 40.

Finally managed to complete the raid. Quite enjoyed it overall, felt it was better than Crota easily. The fact that everyone is involved and moving about the whole time makes you feel everyone is actually helping toward killing the boss.
We've still not done a caf raid yet and probably won't for a while as there aren't many on 290+ light.
Yeah the strike playlist can be annoying, especially as there's only around five or six in the rotation and when the Echo Chamber, Dust Palace and Bond Brothers strikes come up, more often than not the other two I'm with end up leaving.
Last night I helped someone with the totems bit of the raid just before the first boss, so now have a checkpoint for the first boss if anyone wants to try that tonight just before the reset.

Yeah I think so, there's a couple of doors right at the bottom on both sides where they come out right? In the video, the guy in the middle went right next to the door and just shot the adds as they came out during the pre-'lighting up the floor circle things' phase', which looked like a good system to use. They all just then seemed to go exactly where the guy was who had the red aura thing and that guy would literally keep his eyes open for adds and no one else would shoot them. I think that was kind of our problem y'see, some other peeps shooting the adds at times which doesn't help the guy trying to keep the aura up.

Yeah thats it, our problem was we weren't 100% sure how to keep the aura up so everyone was dying after 10 seconds. The aura guy does their best to keep the aura going by killing an add while the other 5 DPS the Warpriest
