I'm going to run it with gaz and Cosmo, one of them is going to stay on with me and run through it again with me so we can go and get yours.
 
Also apparently once you get the sniper, you can buy more (damage 300 instead of 310) for an exotic shard so if you've got tonnes of them like me you can just buy them and use them to upgrade your other special weapons to around 300.

Since im at work i can do plenty of reading on reddit (should really be working :lol:).

From what im seeing, have two guys mainly on Boss DPS, and one guy to handle the adds, specifically the psions as they will split and flood the area.

Yeah, when we were doing that part i was thinking to myself 'we're never going to do this, are we even making any progress with it?' and then it was finished. So yeah, it's not so bad all in all really.

You can see the lights on the side of the door marking the progress. Every time I rotated into the centre I saw we were doing well, then ended up wiping for some stupid reason

Ah right, I hadn't noticed that. Good to know it's there though.
 
I'll be on later. Is there any chance of me being able to get this black spindle give that I'm only at about 270 light?

You can do the lost light mission on heroic any time, just wait until you are high enough level.

It's kicked my ass enough for today, I'll see where I am light wise in a few days.
 
I've just got back yesterday from Holiday, feel so behind already!. Loving what I have seen from the new stuff so far though, the taken have given it a different edge so far. Love the look of the new swords and things :drool:

Has there been a Caf raid attempt yet ?

Not a proper one. We had a little go with four of us and two others but it didn't go well. I'm up for raiding anytime

Cool, it'll probably take me a few days to get up to speed, just about to do the last story mission tomorrow I think. Liking the nightstalker so far, seems pretty cool, what's the rest of the new features like?
 
Ah, so you can do that Lost to Light mission on heroic and get the Black Spindle anytime? it doesn't have to be today necessarily? If so, i won't inflict that on you guys again today.
 
I wonder whether there are any other random side quests like that to get exotics. I feel like it'd be a pretty big coincidence if that was the only one.
