It's just stepping on the runes, and making sure you kill the hallowed knights when they spawn.
Don't shoot adds when in the red bubble thing, just shoot the priest, some of you seem to die in the bubble regardless of if you are getting shot or not.
Yeah I know the mechanics and exactly what to do, but the others I'm with don't and just don't do enough damage

Someone on my friends list invited me to a group and we blasted the Warpriests health down before someone left halfway through.
Thought i was too late so fecked off to Fifa instead. ffs
There were two spaces when I joined and three people had left since so there was plenty of space for you as well

Managed to get into another party who needed a checkpoint, they joined mine. Did Warpriest and Golgoroth, then they made some bs excuse, went to orbit and kicked me from the party. Dickheads.
Anyone have a charged agonarch rune? Mines only at 4/7 but if someone has one, you can get all 7 while doing that. Need just 2 more fragments for the touch of malice quest, can get them from the raid but I have to wait for later for that.

I've still got the weekly/daily stuff to do & I think i'll check out some heroic strikes this week aswell. Got myself an Exotic engram last night and was pretty pissed off when I saw it was a gauntlet for which I already have an exotic, but it turned out to be a Titan one so that was a bit better, into the vault it went incase I get my Titan properly levelled up. Got some good Legendary armour over the weekend too.
This game is so much better since TTK came out since now you get your due rewards for playing it for long periods and there's tons of quests/content to keep you busy without the repetitive grind that the latter stages of the vanilla version got bogged down with. Well played Bungie
How do you get exotic shards by the way? I wanted to infuse some of my exotics but I've no idea how or where I can find these shards.
Delete an old exotic if you've got 2 of the same. Xur used to sell them but not sure if he does anymore.
Finally got my first exotic piece. My leveling up has ground to a halt. I've only gone up one level of light in the last two days.
Got passed Warpriest and Golgoroth last night, was really good fun but only got some boots (303 defense). Pity we are going to have to run it again today to get back to the Daughters of Oryx.
We actually found Golgoroth pretty straight forward and once we all had our jobs we managed to do it fairly quickly. Loving this raid so far, although the next lot of jumping and platforming after Golgoroth is a pain.

I am not touching the nightfall this week, not worth it. will focus more on getting raid ready instead.

For those who have done the Raid, what would you consider you absolutley need to be considered Raid-ready?
Undying mind with solar burn, fresh troops, juggler and catapult.
this is the taken version with vandals ands minotaurs with solar projectiles and then normal hob goblins with 2 shot solar blasts.
Some really cool secrety stuff being found in the Paradox VoG mission over on Reddit. Stuff like that makes my weeny tingle.
I have only got to Oryx's daughters (only stopped because it was getting late) but I'd say fire team of 6. Ideally only one person as low as 294, we also had three at 295/6 and two at 298 and 299.
300 Sniper's are a massive plus as are Supercells (especially for Gorgorth to clear thrall and taken out. We had 3 Warlocks (Arc Super), 2 Hunters (Void Super) and a Titan (Void Super).
Titan bubble (weapons is also a must). Min 290 primaries and 290-300 Rockets with proximity detonation.
It all depends on how you do each part but above is what we had.
Yeah but I read that its people glitching it before the mission/quest is available which may hinder them when it becomes available later.
Yeah, that's what it seems like to me too. I just meant the fact that there is secret stuff with pockets of extra story like that is cool to me. I'm quite happy to wait until it pops up on the daily heroic thingy, probably got an exotic reward or something for doing it then as well.
I've got an Oryx's Daughters checkpoint by the way if anyone wants to run from that at any point. I'm also up for starting fresh raid tonight or whenever

Do you have a sniper? You're a hunter aren't you? Nightstalker bow should be handy for the first boss
Yeah I've got the new exotic sniper at 290 and a few others. Ha sounds interesting, they are always a laugh.
I could potentially do the raid tonight. I'm just always hamstrung by the fact i'll not be able to get on before 11 which is, obviously, a bit shit. Up to you chaps though, if you've got a group before that then crack the feck on!

We'll probably make it to the second boss/finish that but if we do make good progress on the raid then I can always switch back to my character with the Daughter's checkpoint and skip the jumping puzzle part unless someone wants the chest
I can be online from 9, maybe 8.30 earliest i can hope for.
If you guys still have space then i'll jump in for a fresh run. (haven't done it yet mind you so it would be great if someone with a mic could explain mechanics to me)
That's fine, Adam is in same situation with not having done it but once you get started its fairly straightforward to get to grips with and for a few places it'll be a case of not really understanding what is said but after a few attempts of doing it you get the gist of what to do
