We'll be doing one of the older raids, I'm not sure any of us are high enough light to try the new raid yet.
Yeah and with the time it took the pros to do it, it'd probably take a bit of time to do the full thing in reasonable time. At least a few of the names Levo mentioned haven't done the older raids so should be a good experience anyway.

I never done the last raid either, the game just got boring, which forgivin has fixed by making it more like D1

Ah balls. Now to delete and install from scratch. 68GB, yay.
Majorly pissed off. Was fine until the 1.26 hotfix then the problem came up again. Can't afford to keep installing 80GB games and don't know how best to report it.

Looking at a few Bungie forum posts it seems like it may be a persistent problem with no clear solution, if it's possibly a harddrive issue do you have an external hdd you could install destiny on? not the best solution I know.

Nope :( I've not had this problem with any other game. Thanks for trying to look. Annoying as I was gonna try and make a bit more progress tonight but having to reinstall it all means I won't be able to play until tomorrow.

After taking over 10 matches for 15 precision kills I got the last 10 in 2, the Ace of Spades is so close I can taste it think Iron Banner helped

Which gun are you using? I found the Duke Mk44 the best. The impact makes it like 2 shot kill to the head which is much easier than the fast firing pistols IMO.

AOS is great fun though! Good luck.

Used Gambit hand cannon Trust, was melting under levled players in Iron Banner, found Duke to be too slow and was being punished for any misses/ body shots

Yeah the Trust is pretty good too, although much faster/less recoil. I guess it just depends what works with you best.

After you've done that you have to find the hidden cache's across 3 different planets. I'd recommend looking them up on youtube as it'll take ages otherwise.

Yep, that’s what I done, sucks that you can’t have more then 1 exotic at a time, not going to choose a hand cannon over a sleeper for end game content

@Levo want to pair up after the United game, and do the descendent challenge and the mission?

Balls. Another update happening soon. In case what happened the last time there was an update happens again, is there anyone who uses an external HDD for their games? Which do you use and how do I "set it up"?

Last night I had my first go at a Gambit match. Had no idea what I was doing, no fireteam and had a bow and sniper equipped (can't control a bow to save my life) but won 2:0. Got to grips with the motes side of thing pretty quick - though it could be made a bit clearer where the stupid bank is - and don't think the other team banked more than 10 motes each round. At the bottom of the screen it kept saying red member lost 11 motes and so on.

I don't use one but it seems like as long as it's usb 3.0 and over 250GB you should be fine, this seems to cover all the info you need:

New update fixed the blind well telesto cheese and also changed the 5 invader kills with a handcannon step for Ace of Spades so anyone struggling with that will be happy.

Thanks. A couple of days ago I made the mistake of going in a 40/400 strike as a 33/360ish. There was another one with a similar level and light to me (he was in a fireteam with a level 50). Felt sorry for the 50 as us other two died every few seconds. Was the Lake of Shadows strike so loads of taken everywhere. Was horrible. Won't do that again.

Think I must have seen a player with the worst gambit stats ever, Motes banked 0 Motes lost 40, as a team they finished the 2nd round with only 4 motes banked

Finally hit 50/500. Would have done it two days ago if not for the damn 'problem reading game content' bug. Will be on tonight at 10 but if you'd all prefer raiding earlier with a full fire team of people who have a mic instead, I understand.

My glimmer is constantly maxed out. Anyone know a good 'glimmer sink', or can you only really spend them on stuff from your collection?

Mustn't have known what they were doing.

Buy materials with glimmer from Spider in the Tangled Shore.. Materials are always good to have when infusing stuff later on so you can keep using your best stuff.

I love when you use a super or a rocket or something and take out a whole pack of enemies, seeing the motes rain....only to have some mothbreather run in, pick them all up and then get decked by a minotaur or something. Unless i have less than 5 i always bank them if i run past the bank to the next spawn. Having 2 or 3 phalanxes spawn at once is way more annoying than 1 knight and even then the point is blocking the other bank, which you do at 5+ anyways

Weapon infusions cost a fair bit of glimmer.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm a bit away from having enough of the rest of the materials to infuse. Will try and do the rest of the Powerful Gear quests and stuff I've got tomorrow then will see if I can infuse.

Worst thing ever is getting a bit of Powerful Gear in the slot you just got the last piece of Powerful Gear from  bugger all light difference

Thanks.

The glimmer will help with the material problems, just not today

My main problem is the lack of resilience in any of my gear
Not sure why they removed the option to re-roll armour when you masterworked it, made it so you could use stuff you liked the look of without having to sacrifice on stats.

Xûr's inventory (Nessus, Watcher's Grave - the big tree)

Looking at the comments, Crimson sounds good so I'll probably get that.
I never really warmed to Crimson but a lot of people love it, mainly for the heal after a kill I think. All of those exotics are decent though apart from probably Khepri's Horn, Stompees are great for jumping puzzles.

Sounds useful for Gambit and those Heroic Adventures. Not tried any Heroics yet but I imagine they'll be a bitch.

Heroics are fine, they used to be more challenging but they toned down some of the negative modifiers so you don't notice much of a difference now and if anything they can be easier because some of the positive modifiers mean you can throw nearly endless nades or have your super up a lot etc.
