Gaming Destiny 2 • RedCafe Clan in OP

Ah balls. Now to delete and install from scratch. 68GB, yay.
 
Jumped into the new raid with a group of friends on Friday to have a look around. Figured out the first encounter easy enough, but quickly got gear checked. There was one enemy in particular that only myself and one other guy could damage. Going to try again after another reset.

If anyone is ever looking for a spare body for anything, feel free to chuck me a message.

If that is in Forsaken, I haven't got that DLC yet. When I got Destiny I got the expansion pass which included Curse of Osiris and the Warmind - and I stopped playing just before either came out :lol:

Managed to finish downloading Destiny and got on. Feel a bit like Fry out of Futurama (when I stopped playing 20/300 was max (or was max without doing Leviathan), and now it is something like 50/500+). Doesn't help that I stopped playing around when a very old Iron Banner was on so I'm all dressed up :lol:

Ah well, still plenty to do starting the Osiris DLC (did one mission last night). I see they refurbished/added the Collections and Triumphs pages - loads of stuff in both.

Will leave the weekly engrams from the various tower people until after I've done the stories from the first two expansions.

What was the max level and light before Forsaken came out so I know my cap - 30/400ish?

Anyone who wants to join the clan can feel free to do so and I'll accept whenever.

I got stuck around 300/350 before buying the forsaken.

I might join the clan, still clanless at the moment.

I think it was 380 for Warmind, with Forsaken it goes up to 600.
If you do plan on getting Forsaken (you should, it is so much better now) you should just install it right away as it allows you to level up both character level and power level past the old caps, while doing the old content.

It was introduced during Warmind so you'll have it but it's only available at weekends - friday reset to monday reset - and you have to wait for a certain public event to trigger it, but it's well worth it for the reward.

Max was 380 before Forsaken but it's the random rolls to weapons and armour plus the revised mod system that are the biggest changes so if you do plan on getting Forsaken it might be worth picking it up for access to those loot pools, also you'll gain access to a vendor that sells planetary materials which are used a lot in infusion now.

As Redom has mentioned, the whisper of the worm is basically a reskinned Black Nail exotic Sniper.

It's a secret mission that only appears on IO during the Taken Blight quest. I attempted the jumping puzzle last night but I went in blind and ran out of time (20 mins to do the lot)

I've done it loads of times now as you have to do the heroic version multiple times for the catalyst and unlock the ship, plus I've helped a few people through so if you need someone to show you the puzzle and then the chests just let me know, though I believe it's a bit more tricky now because no heavy bricks are dropping throughout the whole mission so clearing rooms can take longer.

Yeah that would be cool, I hadn't even tried it before until I watched the raid and thought it would be handy to have. Currently trying to get the sleeper stimulant too.

I'll give you a shout if you're on at the weekend cheers.

Thanks. In two minds about it (don't see much point in getting it if I'm not able to do end-game content) but might end up getting it anyway

Might be one or two but the caf leans heavily towards PS4. There are 3 Xbox players in the clan - 2 of them are listed in OP but not sure if they still play.
 
It's actually ridiculous how much they charge for Destiny. I recently purchased it on PC (having bought it for Xbox last year) for about £32 whilst under the impression this latest DLC was included. Much to surprise, it wasn't and Activision want another £30 for this... £60+ for a game that massively flopped is beyond me.
