Fair point - I think MP will still be good on this, but I think the SP will be stronger than GTA, or maybe more immersive is a better description.
Should be worth a few laughs getting everyone on it

Been playing a bit of Gambit yesterday and today and I'm already sick of seeing premade teams of 4 on the other side, they really need a playlist for solo players (or at least solo and doubles) because it's a huge advantage having that communication and coordination. I really want that handcannon that can drop though so I'll have to keep plugging away.
The amount of times I see people holding 10+ motes without banking them is staggering. We could summon a primeval but screw that, xXepicgamerXx wants to shoot adds and get killed trying to invade. I understand it's a new mode but it isn't that difficult to understand. In general I do like the mode a lot but solo queuing is just awful.
Doing the ace of spades quest is a balls as well everything else you invade it’s the sleeper in your face, no mind getting close enough to use a hand cannon
It is a pain, I only have 2 kills with a hand cannon on gambit, but I’m never going to get 25 precision kills in crucible in a million years anyway

Yeah, if I ever have more than 5 motes and I'm passing the middle I just bank them, the blockers are all easy enough to deal with unless the rest of your team just jumps past them on the way to the next enemy spawn leaving you to deal with a bunch by yourself :/
I love my handcannons so this was easy enough for me to get but if you're not used to them it could be tricky, you could always soften them up a bit with another weapon and then use the handcannon to finish them off. Personally I used a Ten Paces that dropped for me from the gunsmith, it has good recoil and decent range so if you get one of them then it's worth a try.
It's worth grinding for because the Ace of Spades is a great gun, I'm just annoyed I never got my preorder stuff from ordering off amazon so didn't get the ornament for it.
Anyone want to help me with a nightfall strike? Stupid how they is no match making on that mode.

Really? Seems stupid for them to set the recommended level at 270 then.

Any one completed the cleaver bounty on io, I think if I had a fireteam I'd be able to do it but soloing at the moment would be fecking hard

Finished off the Chaperone quest earlier so that and the Ace of Spades are the only 2 new exotics I've got so far, haven't had any engrams drop at all and with Xur not selling any new ones it's been a lean week on that front.

No problem, if you haven't already then it's worth getting the Five of Swords challenge card off Xur in the tower as it allows you to add your own modifiers to the prestige nightfall.

I've played it a little bit yesterday evening because it's on the PSN thing, must say I liked it. Is the DLC worth getting?
Me and a friend managed to do it early on by just running in and out of the portal and shooting, you can get a few free hits on him before it goes immune
You've just got to be careful of the turrets / dogs that randomly spawn in, but with 1 extra person it's easy enough, just have to chip away at him.
Doing it the proper way would be difficult I imagine
IMO this is the best DLC Destiny has ever had, if you like the look of the game i'm sure you'd enjoy it.
It is the sort of game you have to sink some hours into though if you want the truly best stuff, so bare that in mind. You can happily play it casually though and still get good stuff with the weekly events.

I haven't done much raiding so I wouldn't be the best for guiding you through it but I don't mind being an extra body if you need it.
Need main one for quest an wouldn’t mind a playthrough of the others. Sure 3/4 of us can manage it, especially you lot at higher levels.
If you have the Forsaken DLC, complete the story and the quest for the dreaming city, then do Heroic story missions, Strikes, or do a load of public events
I wouldn’t complete milestones that reward powerful gear until you are at the soft cap of 500 light
