Dele 'Muhammad' Alli | Walker takes the finger from Dele | FIFA open disciplinary proceedings

As disgusting as Keane's incident was, at least he had a history with the other player and was at least man enough not to pretend to be innocent.

Alli is just a liitle cnut.

God, I really hope Dier will get a cnutish tackle one day as the ones he lunges into in that video.. And the 'ill see him soon' comments.. Jesus.. he's a top-moron.

The one on Fabregas is absolutely ridiculous.

OK let me say for probably the 5th time so far in this thread for those who are ignoring it for some reason. It was an absolute disgrace what he did and he will rightly get a heavy ban. I condemn him completely.

That doesnt mean I can't challenge the complete hypocrisy of Utd fans who are now up in arms about it.
Hypocrisy implies that they turn a blind eye to United players doing the same thing which isn't true as you would see from posts on this forum. That tackle was as bad as the Keane one, luckily for the Gent Player the impact wasn't the same

Agreed, they are very naive at times and show their inexperience when it counts. I'd hoped we had learnt from the shambles of Newcastle and Cheslea last season and to a certain extent I think we have, just every now and again you can see the pressure getting to them.
Only thing I would say is that I don't think the manager and senior players try and address this issue. There is a general lack of leadership in the squad as it is so it's Poch's job to manage the discipline on the field.

Thread title would be better as Dele 'Bruce' Alli... dirty little fecker

Nothing wrong with being a nasty little shit but tackles like that have no place in the game. We need stronger retrospective punishment to deter these kind of tackles.

What do you mean?

Dirtiest club in the country. Haven't forgotten their thuggery last season at the Bridge that actually ascended as soon as Hazard smacked it top bins to deny them their only chance at winning the title for at least another 20/25 years.

Leicester we're in the 3rd tier 8 years ago, even City were there 25 years ago! Hope you're right though, horrible club since 1981.

It's the one area that most ex-pro's (perhaps not the midfield or defensive enforcers who were culpable in their own careers) would agree needs to be changed - longer bans for those types of challenges. The majority of players would much prefer to be spat on or verbally abused than be on the end of a challenge like that. Yet the rules and suspensions governing the game don't reflect that.
Sadly I think most of us would agree with you. If I were being verbally abused or spat on I could much easier brush it off as the person has no brain cells and that's one of the many things I teach my kids never to become and to respect everyone (not that I talk about spitting on people but you get the drift).

I reckon things will only change when we get a world class player (aka Messi / Ronaldo) be on the receiving end of a challenge like that which ends their career before things will change. That or someone is on the receiving end and sues Fifa for negligence as governing body (aka if I did something at work, it's the company that gets sued most time)

Pochettino was someone I might've wanted to see here, but after either encouraging this disgraceful bollocks or simply not doing anything to stop it, he can feck off. Horrible trait to have in a side, it doesn't make the team seem tough or rugged just dirty and bitter.

Don't get me wrong, we all have our catalogue of bad challenges, some even horrific. Rojo for example for us this season has very luckily got away with a couple of shocking challenges.

The difference though, is that Rojo simply doesn't use his brain. Whilst that doesn't excuse him in any way, it's a whole different story to Alli et al. who think it's acceptable to attempt to break other players legs when they don't get things their way. Still haven't forgotten how Danny Rose tried to put Mkhi out of commission at OT, and luckily for Mkhi the injury wasn't as serious at it could've been.

We all know where it's coming from. Disgraceful manager at the helm, disgraceful team. Poch is the Cobra Kai teacher for sure.

haha 'FINISH HIM!' I just imagined it.

Spurs are just a dirty team and Pochettino (who probably suffers from little dick syndrome) encourages it.

Only just seen it. Genuinely one of the worst I've ever seen.

I thought he was going to be a great manager but I'm rapidly losing respect for him. He is turning Spurs into a DIRTY team something they were never in the past. and I'm a Chelsea fan.

The Dele Alli challenge was horrible but the Danny Rose challenge on Mhki wasn't anything other than trying to stop Mhki from dribbling away with the ball. It wasn't a malicious challenge even if it did injure Mhki.

Alli reminds me of early years Rooney. Used to cringe at his 'passion' and petulance. Should have got way more punishment that he got but as England's boy wonder, he got all the protection. Might be the same with Alli.

Alli is the better player and more of a goal threat.
Completely different players. Ali is almost a second striker. Herrera is an 8. Which is why Ali might have a nasty stream but he's nowhere near as good defensively nor does he press anywhere near as well as Herrera does. He's more of an attacker than a midfielder. The odd moment of kicking people doesn't change that.

Ali has played as an 8 and would excel in our team imo. Yes he wouldn't score as many but he would still get into the box and offer a threat (Herrera whilst getting into the box doesn't).
Both Herrera and Ali are nippy players when defending but I think Ali has more of a nasty side to him. Yes Herrera has strong points but I believe Ali would be better as our 8.

DDG
Valencia Bailey Smalling Shaw (hopeful)
Ali Pogba
Mykytarin Griezman Martial
Zlatan

Romero
Blind
Jones
Herrera
Mata
Rashford
Peirra

That is a lot of money on 2 players and very attacking but I think it would bring massive success (1 potential WC player and Griezman is already WC). Following season Zlatan leaves we could buy a 6 if no one has stepped up to give us a 433 as a change of formation in tougher away games.

He's one of those players who is very easy to dislike. Actually that applies to quite a few in that Spurs team.

So it's only going to be 3 matches? fecker deserves 10 for this.

What's the point of Sky showing Scholes and Bergkamp making bad tackles when they're talking about Alli? Trying to justify or explain it?

God no.
Please keep him the feck away from United.

It was disgraceful. Even calling it a tackle was a joke.

After a bad week and an obvious horror tackle it was great to see Dele show his professional side and nick a goal today.

Just for the humour of it I wonder how long some people are going to go on about Chelsea last season, it wasn't even that bad, got blown way out of proportion.

It was pretty bad. And just petulant and childish too. I would have been really embarrassed if that were my team.

Surprised no one said yet that if you do it to someone outside the football pitch you will be locked behind bars.

They are just words, all teams lose it a bit sometimes. Was a great game that had an edge, the best game of last season by a mile.

It's like Liverpool fans with Suarez.
Trying to justify it with references to United players decades back

I thought Alli's tackle was absolutely horrendous.

Not really in line with that Chelsea game which I still think was a great game.
