Dele 'Muhammad' Alli | Walker takes the finger from Dele | FIFA open disciplinary proceedings

Bit much no? cnut in making cnutish tackle shocker? Aren't there dozens of these around Europe each year? He's just lucky he didn't properly feck the other guy's leg up or he'd have been hauled over the coals for years.

He's been long overdue a red card, hopefully they'll start coming on a regular basis now.

Doesn't surprise me, Spurs are very thuggish when things go against them. They practically tried to murder every Chelsea player on the pitch at Stamford Bridge last season. It's petulant and reeks of a weak mentality.

Alli can be a right little rat sometimes.
That's a horror tackle. To react with disbelief when you know fully well your studs connected bang on to the opponents' shin that recklessly.

Absolute douche.

That was a clear cut assault. Two-footed, studs-up, right at the leg, ball is long gone, and not only did he not retract his legs, he actually kept going at it.

Absolutely intentional. Unfortunately, he'll get away with a slap on the wrist. Probably a few game European ban at most. Won't affect rest of this season since they're already out of Europe.

I remember that as well. Many of their players seem have a tendency to literally start kicking their opponent players when they're frustrated. A bunch of immature thugs.

He's just a bad loser. Most top players are and become petulant from time to time. See Roy Keane for example.

As I was saying few months ago and some thought I was overreacting...

Alli is a billion miles from being anywhere near as bad as that cnut Costa.

He's going to be a great player, but an abslutely disgusting challenge and tackles like that, for me, deserve a 6-10 game ban. That could easily have ended that lad's career and needs to be stamped out. He knew darn well what he was doing and I don't buy the argument a red is just a 3 match ban.

Costa winds people up. Alli is a fecking grub. Alli is worse all day. I actually enjoy Costa (when he's not playing against us).

He is so "i'm the best player on my sunday league team" in his mentality. Seriously needs to sort it out.

Couldn't agree more. One spits at people while the other is out to finish other players career when things are not going his way.

A billion miles. If anything he's worse.

What?

Not a chance. Line up their cuntishness together and Costa comes out much much worse. Elbowing and stamping people on a regular basis while trying to get people sent off multiple times in a game never mind a season. He's a rabid dog who should be put down.

It's the one area that most ex-pro's (perhaps not the midfield or defensive enforcers who were culpable in their own careers) would agree needs to be changed - longer bans for those types of challenges. The majority of players would much prefer to be spat on or verbally abused than be on the end of a challenge like that. Yet the rules and suspensions governing the game don't reflect that.

Horrible challenge but would love him at United. He wouldn't score as many goals as I'd play him as an 8 with him right Pogba left and a 6 behind them but by God he'd offer legs, tackling and passing on the move plus a bit of bite in our midfield.

Legs, tackling and bite... things Herrera offers and does better imo anyway

Is the player alright? Just saw the video.. the standing leg bending that way is sickening.. slow-mo makes it look even worse.

Should get a 10 game ban for this, but he'll get 1 or 3 max.

You only need to read the first page of this thread and people already called him out for being a thuggish prick. Any game not going spurs way, he is begging for a red.

Can't wait for him to try it on the wrong player, hope to see another rock bottom from Bailly

This. With Costa it's genuinely the 'dark arts', that's why he doesn't get sent off and why lots of defenders and keepers have a smile with him at the end of the game (or sometimes during).

With Alli, there's no control, there's no thought of the team, only his own frustrations at not being able of beating the opponent.

Costa's 'dark arts' help his teammates, Alli's hinder his own team.

Costa is widely regarded as the best CF in the league, and is about to win his 2nd PL winners' medal in 3 seasons.

Good post, and important to remember the other fella in the video clip. Really hope he's ok and able to enjoy the rest of Gent's season in Europe.

What does that have to do with him being a massive cnut week in week out?

This might be a bad time for it, but if we ever want someone to replace Herrera (or challenge him for his place), I'd love to break the bank for Alli. Him and Pogba in the same team! :D:D:D Especially in a midfield 3 with a good CDM. I wouldn't go for him yet though, maybe in a couple of years, once he's sick of Spurs bottling it.

Yet that was his first ever red card in his career (out of 128 appearances). Something doesnt compute.

I'm really surprised by that, he has been lucky a few times.

He is only 20 so I'm sure he will pick up a few more in his career. He is a top player but you can't argue he is not a nasty shit.

Not saying he doesnt have a nasty streak and certainly not defending that shocking tackle last night but he is just a kid and some of the stuff being written about him in this thread is way over the top. One guy called him 'psychotic' and if you read other statements you would assume he is actively out to maim and murder other players. He was totally out of order last night, I'm not defending it but ffs you would think it was the first time some folk had witnessed a bad tackle.

You are right he is just a kid, but he needs to tone it down. I imagine a lot of fans feels the same way about Alli as opposition did about Keane.

My problem with the tackle last night is that it wasn't just a mistimed one, it's not really being shown in the clips and pictures, but he lost the ball and was annoyed the ref didn't give him a foul...so he goes diving in to retaliate

I'm not defending it, it was shocking. However does he do tackles like that on a regular basis? No thankfully he does not and like I said previously that was his first red card in his career. He has a nasty, competitive streak and obviously at times can get himself into bother as a result, but is he a rampaging psychopathic monster? Of course not, he is a kid who needs to learn to control himself under pressure situations. Let's not hang him out to dry just yet.
