Dele 'Muhammad' Alli | Walker takes the finger from Dele | FIFA open disciplinary proceedings

He's a prick. Gets away with it because the English press are in love with him
Don't think he'll get away with it, and you can't really blame the referee considering the ball was quite a lot away from the incident.

As I said earlier on in this thread, great talent, but needs to get rid of his cnutish behaviour. Most of it's pointless too.

P.S. Love the thread name

Certain 3 match ban

For all his talent he is a petulant dickhead

If this was reversed Yacob wouldn't know what hit him.. Refs and media would be all over this..

I think Levy gets a bit too much of a hard time over the bale signings
Spurs have lost £29.4m when you look at the purchase / sale price of Soldado, Chirches, Capoue and Paulinho

They still have Erikson, Lamella and Chadli on their books who cost £43.8m in total and I suspect you would get significantly more than that if you sold those three - infact I wouldn't be surprised if it got close to breaking even

over the last 5 years he has made a profit every year on transfer dealings
+£7.85m, +£1.25m, +£16.3m, +£1.3m, +£27m = £53.7
http://www.transferleague.co.uk/tottenham-hotspur/english-football-teams/tottenham-hotspur-transfers

In contrast we have made a loss each year for the last 5 years
-£28.15m, -£104.2m, -£66.7m, -£51.1m, -£38.15m = -288.3m
http://www.transferleague.co.uk/manchester-united/english-football-teams/manchester-united-transfers

so basically they have a net spend £342m less than us over 5 seasons, or £68.4m a season less

sod pochettino or kane... lets sign levy
The also have 2 titles in the past 20 years if you want to get into that. Even less titles if you count Levy's reign. He might have made a profit off of Carrick and Berbatov but they won titles with United and United with them.

Yeah, he has to be banned for this. Awful display.

It'd be shocking if he didn't get banned for that. I knew he had a streak in him, but he looks like a right dick in that. Especially in the aftermath. With him being England's new plaything, he'll probably get off free... The campaign to bring him down hasn't started yet...

He played in league one, you'd assume he would have learnt how to deal with untalented players trying to hack him out of the game by now. Still, violent conduct, 3 match ban, does in my fantasy footy team, nice one dele.

Are you including his middle name to put off the trump/Boris fans?

Yep that's Dele's season over with, a ban now may not be a bad thing to make him learn from it.

He looked on his last legs tonight anyway, a break will do him good.

I like him as a player but he's a petulant dick that's been at it all season. Managers/players will continue to target him.

I think he needs a ban to get this out of his system; I really hope he does. He acts like a fecking Saturday league player, who thinks hes quality, when it's not going his way. I like the hunger, but it will hamper him if he doesn't wind it in a bit.

When did this happen?

You are not factoring in the kind of players we sell. We are still among the elite clubs (profile wise) thus less likely to sell to other elite clubs. In other words, we don't often sell players we want to keep. Ronaldo is pretty much the only one and we got £80 million for him. Players being transferred by Spurs are either making a step up to an elite club or a step up by joining Spurs.

Harry Redknapp said it shows he has a bit of fight and he likes that.

He'll hit out at the wrong player soon and get throttled. Just hope he doesn't do anything silly in the Euro's.

Like Rooney did? Or Beckham? Being a bit overblown all this for me. It's a learning curve. This kid was playing in the third division not that long back. He's been superb this year and has shown maturity beyond his years and he deserves his place in the England side on form.

It wasn't very bright, he probably regrets it, but at least it shows a bit of passion. He'll likely learn a valuable lesson from it.

I can understand if it was on one occasion, but this has happened on a number of occasions now. It's all getting a bit boring and silly, in my opinion.

That only works if you can identify players who are good enough to join elite clubs, which is in itself impressive.

He's punched players on numerous occasions?

It's daft, and shows a but if immaturity - which unsurprisingly young people do from time to time. He's clearly passionate and wasn't very happy they were chucking away their chance at the title - hence why he's overreacted. At least he's showing a bit of passion, albeit in the wrong way.

A big fuss over nothing for me. People seem to love to criticise young footballers - especially in England where it seems a lot like to jump on it when players make a mistake. He's a great talent with a massive future and chances are he won't be running around chinning people left right and centre in the future - despite what some might want to believe.

Punched, kicked, shoved. All pointless, in my opinion. Darren Fletcher had to have a word with him early on in the game yesterday because he kicked out at him for nothing.

I get that he's young and passionate, but there's different ways of dealing with that passion, and he'll have to learn.

I understand that you want to protect him - so do I. Young, talented player (shouldn't make a difference), but what he did yesterday was wrong, and if it was any other player we'd for him to be banned.

Thanks

But yeah, seems you can take a man out of Milton Keynes but can't take the Milton Keynes out of the man.*
*no offence to anyone from Milton Keynes reading this, apart from Hectic.

He reminds me of the chavs I see around MK on a daily basis.

Wannabe hardmen.

I think the people defending him don't get the point. If another player did this, i.e. Suarez or Costa, there would have been endless articles. But this time, he's showing fight and passion.
