Don't think he'll get away with it, and you can't really blame the referee considering the ball was quite a lot away from the incident. He's a prick. Gets away with it because the English press are in love with him

The also have 2 titles in the past 20 years if you want to get into that. Even less titles if you count Levy's reign. He might have made a profit off of Carrick and Berbatov but they won titles with United and United with them.I think Levy gets a bit too much of a hard time over the bale signings
Spurs have lost £29.4m when you look at the purchase / sale price of Soldado, Chirches, Capoue and Paulinho
They still have Erikson, Lamella and Chadli on their books who cost £43.8m in total and I suspect you would get significantly more than that if you sold those three - infact I wouldn't be surprised if it got close to breaking even
over the last 5 years he has made a profit every year on transfer dealings
+£7.85m, +£1.25m, +£16.3m, +£1.3m, +£27m = £53.7

In contrast we have made a loss each year for the last 5 years
-£28.15m, -£104.2m, -£66.7m, -£51.1m, -£38.15m = -288.3m

so basically they have a net spend £342m less than us over 5 seasons, or £68.4m a season less

You are not factoring in the kind of players we sell. We are still among the elite clubs (profile wise) thus less likely to sell to other elite clubs. In other words, we don't often sell players we want to keep. Ronaldo is pretty much the only one and we got £80 million for him. Players being transferred by Spurs are either making a step up to an elite club or a step up by joining Spurs.I think Levy gets a bit too much of a hard time over the bale signings

The two league cups you mean? When did this happen?
He'll hit out at the wrong player soon and get throttled. Just hope he doesn't do anything silly in the Euro's.
Like Rooney did? Or Beckham? Being a bit overblown all this for me. It's a learning curve. This kid was playing in the third division not that long back. He's been superb this year and has shown maturity beyond his years and he deserves his place in the England side on form.
It wasn't very bright, he probably regrets it, but at least it shows a bit of passion. He'll likely learn a valuable lesson from it.

I can understand if it was on one occasion, but this has happened on a number of occasions now. It's all getting a bit boring and silly, in my opinion.
He's punched players on numerous occasions?
It's daft, and shows a but if immaturity - which unsurprisingly young people do from time to time. He's clearly passionate and wasn't very happy they were chucking away their chance at the title - hence why he's overreacted. At least he's showing a bit of passion, albeit in the wrong way.
A big fuss over nothing for me. People seem to love to criticise young footballers - especially in England where it seems a lot like to jump on it when players make a mistake. He's a great talent with a massive future and chances are he won't be running around chinning people left right and centre in the future - despite what some might want to believe.

He reminds me of the chavs I see around MK on a daily basis. Thanks
But yeah, seems you can take a man out of Milton Keynes but can't take the Milton Keynes out of the man.*
*no offence to anyone from Milton Keynes reading this, apart from Hectic.
If Suarez was still in the PL there would be the threat of being bittenWhen was the last time you saw somebody throttled in a PL match?
