You really are being tiresome. I've already said that Alli has shown at least as much potential as Pogba at the same age. Now you want to know if he's displayed the same level of talent (to which the answer is clearly yes). What next? Will you want to know if he's the same height, or brushes his teeth as often?

To show that Alli is a better midfielder than Wilshere - who was widely touted as the best thing since sliced bread on here not too long ago. This answer was blindingly obvious, yet you persisted ... :rolleyes:

He was pretty fecking brilliant for a youngster a few years back, to be honest. Just watching him you could tell.

But ye agree Alli is better than Wilshere currently.

Well, I wasn't sure why you would think goal and assist tallies for an attacking midfielder were reasonable terms to compare with a midfield playmaker.

? All I did was ask you a question, and instead of answering it, you went off on your own tangent.

Pogba was touted as an £80m talent after his first season at Juventus. Expected, unquestionably, to join whichever of the biggest clubs were willing to put up the cash. He's also been expected, since that age, to eventually become the best midfielder on the planet as well as a regular WPOTY contender, too. He's been mentioned in the same breath, in terms of potential, as Zidane a number of times with nobody ridiculing the suggestion.

Dele Alli might be a lot of things, and a very interesting talent to watch develop, but absolutely nobody has placed the same expectations on him as Pogba had at the same age.

And when he deals with the level of pressure and attention Pogba has had since that time, we'll see whether he takes it in his stride and continues to develop unabated, which Pogba has done.

Alli hasn't always played as an attacking midfielder - he began the season by playing as a box-to-box CM and even now he isn't just an AM: he pops up all over the place. So the comparison is not so unreasonable.
