He will be going.
I'll be honest, if losing De Gea meant getting Bale - I wouldn't be too disheartened at all.
Tbf there's a whole list of positions we should be strengthening before thinking of a mega signing like Bale IMO. We're only as strong as our weakest link and right now that's midfield and defence
I think he's going to leave sadly.....however if we can nab someone like Carvajal then I would be quite happy with that.

According to Manchester United De Gea costs 60 million euros!, of course if United wants a swap would be great for them but is too much for a goalkeeper.I wouldn´t like undersell Bale. In that case Madrid should look for another goalkeeper and ask 135 million for Bale(what Bayern is willing to pay, according to As :http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2015/05/03/primera/1430643466_978286.html ). I also read that United might be interested in Handanovic, from Inter.
2 year? What's the point?According to me, he has signed a new 2 year deal which will be confirmed this week. If I am correct, all you DDG lovers must bow at my superior knowledge.
that´s truth, but if not Bayern could be City or Chelsea(or United)who want pay a similar amountWhen have Bayern ever paid massive transfer fees? They just buy the best Dortmund players for peanuts.
do they say something about the release clause? The sun running a story on tomorrow's papers that he will sign a new 2 year deal.
Didn't read that far, as it's the sun. I highly doubt the club would allow some sort of release clause in a deal anyway.do they say something about the release clause?
Tufty, isn't he a cnut?
You edited your post, now I look like I'm just called him a cnut for absolutely no reason. After reading the comments it indeed sound like he is

DAVID DE GEA is ready to hand Manchester United a massive boost by signing a new two-year deal worth around £20million.
The Spanish star will accept United’s £200,000-a-week offer and snub interest from Real Madrid.
Keeper De Gea, 24 is happy to stay at Old Trafford until the summer of 2017.
But he could then walk away for free.
De Gea knows that Real would not be able to match United’s offer, especially as they would need to pay a huge fee to persuade them to sell.
This way De Gea can control his own destiny.
He can pick up a bumper pay rise if he signs for Louis van Gaal now and then lets his deal run out in a couple of seasons.
The former Atletico Madrid ace, who has developed into one of United’s best players, has considered his next move over the past few weeks.
And he told friends at the weekend that the size and length of the new United contract is perfect for him.
Nah, can't do that. Given how often he spits on his gloves, imagine what he'd do to the armband.200k and the captain armband right now!
But why would he let his deal run out in a couple of seasons when he can do it now...If he is happy he should renew for 5 or 6 years instead 2..

The article is there, if anyone have a sun+ membership
Ok thanks, good to know, actually I read it in "mundodeportivo" that was naming Express, is the sun trustable?Don't bother posting stuff from the Express/listen to anything they have to say. Trust me they are the worst British 'source' for anything ever.
Bet they only made that article so they could have the headline 'David De Stayer'. Was thinking just the other day that The Sun would be disappointed that it looks like he's leaving as they wouldn't be able to do that headline.
Sorry, but No, it's a load of shit.Ok thanks, good to know, actually I read it in "mundodeportivo" that was naming Express, is the sun trustable?
