Day 9: Cameroon vs Serbia | South Korea vs Ghana | Brazil vs Switzerland | Portugal vs Uruguay

So long as they judge every accidental handball like that, then I'm all for it.

His arm was stuck out, no? would need to see it again but there's no way that goal is scored if it doesn't hit his hand, that's why I think it should be handball.

Nah it's down, and the ricochet of the defender is right next to him - they usually don't give handballs for such close deflections onto the hand.

Even though it's totally undeserved (but football is not about who deserves it more, got to be realistic), it's a totally valid goal. It's normal that the VAR checked it and normal that it was allowed, unfortunately.

Damn so lucky
Against the run of play. You are the better side here but really lacking a presence in the box. You look pretty toothless once Son has to drop back and act as orchestrator. Maybe it's easier to adjust that role of his and get him closer to goal?

Yea Son needs to adjust, he's been invisible so far. I like Cho upfront, he's an annoying physical presence (and starting him has appeased the female fans :D ). If only we could make crosses over 1m high. Maybe playing Son behind Cho would be a good idea but Jeong is too slow to be on the wing in my opinion.

South Korea haven't done anything since they conceded.

And it's another goal for Ghana by Kudus.

Ya, game over Korea. Glad Kudus scored. He's a great talent. Won't be at Ajax for long

For all the hype about Asian teams in this World Cup, it means nothing if they can't qualify to the next round. As it stands, only Iran has a good chance of progressing.

Kudus has definitely been one of the exciting young talents of this cup

Fair play to Ghana, that lucky goal has transformed them. Hope we get one back before half time.

OK, that makes it simple then, all to be decided at "The Battle of the Handball Revenge"

Korea fanny around a lot, it's Ghana who actually came to play here. deserved lead.

Beautiful little glancing header, that.
