Day 7 | Slovenia vs Serbia | Denmark vs England | Spain vs Italy

Fodens looking more dangerous takes him off instead of Bellingham.

Brings on Gallagher who's probably your better player for winning the ball back, but that wasn't the problem it was holding onto the ball Mainoo does this so much better.

Bowen over the best English goal scorer in the league.

Then he has the audacity to point to his head, his mistakes cost the game there, he knows nothing. poor manager

Southgate is gonna just do some random stuff next game by probably going palmer, Gallagher and Bellingham or something.

People suggesting line-up and personnel changes are missing the fact that the team will still be coached by Gareth Southgate.

I think we’ve just witnessed the players completely lose any confidence they had in Southgate this evening.

It would be criminal if they even had confidence in Southgate by the start of this tournament. The guy is utter dross

Kyle Walker clearly listened to Southgate's instructions: " we didn't lose..."

That was absolutely horrible. Just depressing.

Manager/tactics aside, when your players can't manage simple five yard passes and seem unable to break into a sprint you have to ask what's going on. Failing at the absolute basics.

England were shite but people acting like Denmark are dead unlucky not to win are being daft.

They didn't create a thing really.

Walker saying you can’t push forward because you have to think about if they get in behind you and then “they’re blaming you for not being in position in defence”.

That perfectly sums up England under Southgate. He picks his team and tactics off the back of opinion pieces and twitter. Utterly terrified of pushing the boat out and taking a chance of his own.

‘You can’t steamroll teams 3/4 - 0 these days, it’s not football’.

Coming from the man that plays for a club team that literally steamrolls teams 3/4 - 0

England being involved in the two worst games of the tournament so far might suggest we’re going to do a Greece and bore our way all the way to the trophy. Greece were a bit better organised though
Greece were absolutely rock solid with a plan they executed to perfection; England aren’t even a tenth of that.

He is too big of a name to drop to the bench
I think one of Kane, Foden, Bellingham has to be dropped. Huge call who and that’s why you need a big manager to make it work but England managers tend to just put all the big names on the pitch and hope for the best.

How are they cutting back to Shearer again after 90mins of hearing him on comms.

16 shots, 7 on target. England, 12 shots, 4 on target. They just fumbled it in the final third. England were toothless and gave the ball away so often.

That's a no then.

England were shite. Denmark were a bit better but at no chance did they look like scoring a second apart from wild shots from outside the box.

Such a great tournament so far and then you’ve got England absolutely stinking the place out.

After England tumble out of this tournament Gareth should find his level.

I can see him doing a job at United....Scunthorpe United that is. At least then people would have an argument about who was the biggest C U N T in football.

So poor. No runners, just dicking about with the ball deep then losing it constantly.

Rashford gets pelters on here, and I wasn't shocked he was left out, but I think he would have been a good option today.

It's amazing how one of the most talented midfield pools in the world can have no composure in midfield. TAA should go back to RB and a proper midfielder (Mainoo or Gallagher) should be alongside Rice. Then you can choose to play with either a diamond (with Foden as a 10 and Bellingham on the left) or a square in offense.

Well... that was dull. Watkins needs to start next match. Need Gordon on the left. Put Mainoo in for Trent. Palmer in for Saka.

any possibility that we can get Guehi? he looks composed, strong and look far mature for his age, similar to Mainoo.

Denmark were pretty poor too (so many unnecessary fouls and give-aways) but that has been completely overshadowed by England's insipid performance.

What do you think @giorno . I think we are better but I have an inherent fear of Italia so I'll take a draw :p
