i’m as modern as any man, but having this yank lady in the ref room talking bollocks isn’t helping any equality cause.
Everyone knew he was a crap choice at the time. How much is he paying the decision makers?Wonder which team Martinez will ruin next.
Italy is easy? Netherlands/Austria is easy?England has a piss easy road to semi-finals.
I don't understand how most of the big guns end up in one half and are forced to kill each other in the early rounds whilst the other half looks like a retirement home.
I’m not sure England beat Austria on current form either.
Are you serious or sarcastic? Seriously asking.England HUGE favourites now

Confused as to what has changed in the last 10 minutes to come to this conclusion.England HUGE favourites now
Compared to Spain, Portugal, France and Germany, yeah.Italy is easy? Netherlands/Austria is easy?
France ended up second, and that messed up the whole bracket.
Confused as to what has changed in the last 10 minutes to come to this conclusion.
On the evidence so far, I’d have Spain as the favourites - by a distanceEngland HUGE favourites now
England are genuinely big Favs with the bookies, as they should be.
Global market, not an english one before people pipe up.
Relatively speaking, yes, but not “piss easy”. England is never the favorite if Italy is around, let alone clear favorite.Compared to Spain, Portugal, France and Germany, yeah.
In salivating at the thought of a Spain-Germany matchup already.Portugal against Slovenia. They can meet France in the QF.
Spain-Germany is a possible QF.
England may meet Italy in the QF.
Netherlands-Austria is another possible QF.
All, with the exception of France, is as expected before the tournament started.
Same here. My money would be on Spain. In salivating at the thought of a Spain-Germany matchup already.
Italy and Netherlands have been awful way before the Euros and were nowhere near being considered as challenger for the title. The only team team that can cause you real problems is Austria.Relatively speaking, yes, but not “piss easy”. England is never the favorite if Italy is around, let alone clear favorite.
What loss could get Southgate out? Slovakia or in the QF/SF?England have to make it past Sovlakia first and there’s no guarantees with Southgate at the wheel
England didn’t look good either, so…Italy and Netherlands have been awful way before the Euros and were nowhere near being considered as challenger for the title. The only team team that can cause you real problems is Austria.
England were the favourites to win it alongside Germany and France before the tournament. It didn't change now but you can add Spain to the mix. Three of those ended up in the same bracket.
You have no excuse if you don't at least reach the finals.
Didn't notice that. The challenge with the keeper was fine but he uses his arm to direct the ball afterwards. Strange that nooone (and neither VAR) took notice or took a look
But we knew this before a ball was kicked tonight.Easy draw to the final
Don't Southgate me.England didn’t look good either, so…
Personally, I would never bet on England against Italy.
I’m not EnglishDon't Southgate me.
Given the quality of your squad, you were and still are major contenders.
What loss could get Southgate out? Slovakia or in the QF/SF?
The confidence in England from some will never get old. If they d been setting the tourney alight I could see why but ehmmm..
Mbappé, followed by Ronaldo, then Morata. You can pick one for your team to provide you goals to win the Euros:
a) Georges Mikaudatze
b) Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata, Memphis Depay, Rasmus Højlund
There's "winning the group, all you can do" like Spain or Portugal did... then there's winning the easiest group due to a last minute block by a Serbian defender, which is pure luck.Won the group, all you can do. Make your own luck.
Probably earlier exit if anythingWhat loss could get Southgate out? Slovakia or in the QF/SF?
I don't know about that. England and France were considered the two best before the tournament and they've both been brutal. Austria wouldn't have been anyones favourites but they've put in some of the best performances.
The problem is the absolute cowards that football associations seem to be drawn to when selecting national team managers.
If he failed his way into the England job I would never stop laughing.Wonder which team Martinez will ruin next.
I don't get that at all.Still absolutely crazy that ITV have Matterface as their no. 1 commentator and Tyldsley as number 2.
