Day 13 | Slovakia vs Romania + Ukraine vs Belgium | Czech Republic vs Turkey + Georgia vs Portugal

It's a brush, not a huge amount of contact really.

Will probably give it.

If Georgia win then England play them or Turkey?

Hungary also miss out on 3rd place.

That’s what I’m talking about it. The ref hasn’t been fair to Portugal.

One angles doesn't look like much but another angle looks worse. It's probably a penalty in my opinion, but harsh

It's a better conduct than all the youngsters playing today with something to prove to earn a spot in the starting 11. Taking out Cristiano and Conceição, it's like the rest of the team doesn't care. At least it's very clear Ronaldo isn't happy with how they played the first half. Wish all the others felt the same. Sideway passes, everyone static, no movements, nothing.

Nah, his conduct is pathetic. It doesn’t help anyone, it’s just toys out the pram because it’s not happening for him.

Denying the Ronaldo one and giving that, you love to see it

It's definitely a pen, I don't know what you're all talking about. That hit hurts in real time, even if he pulls out of the challenge.

Also what an amazing save once more.

Funnily enough his simulation, or exaggeration, made it look like less of a penalty (although maybe what made them look at it?)…if he just crumpled his leg it would really look like a trip

Fell to easy. Martinez is going to make changes now. They need Fernandes.

Joke of a penalty, barely any contact at all.

Portugal deserve this though for indulging Ronaldo this much when he's just been an absolute passenger again.

It’s telling that the portugal player can instantly pull his foot back. There‘s feck all in it.

Portugal 0 António Silva 2

The shirt pull on Ronaldo was ten times more obvious than that. This is the lack of consistency that ruins VAR for people.

He touched him but the decision should always be based on whether or not the contact impeded the player enough to stop a goalscoring chance and it simply didn't.

The handball the other day was a shite decision too

Why is Ronaldo playing ? Portugal have such a good team but he's holding them back.

just saw the replay for the yellows given that led to the red card.....fecking shocking

that romanian ref should be banned for the rest of the tournament and moving forward
What?

They were both textbook yellow cards.

I know she's not very popular, but ITV's VAR expert seems to get it right most of the time, in terms of correctly predicting the decision. The only issue is that the VAR has been so quick at this tournament that the actual decision comes just a couple of seconds after her prediction.
