Can you please clarify what was the point of this part of your post then? (Which I addressed. And also, btw, I am not saying Moyes is good enough for a top club, or that West Ham are a top club, either.)That’s the second time you’ve come wading into the middle of a debate and totally misconstrued what I’ve put and started making totally irrelevant points. Yes, yesterday I was totally saying we should judge Declan Rice on his goals in a post that specifically said the goal was irrelevant. That’s obviously what I was saying. Now here you’re banging on about our fans. We’re totally irrelevant to this debate. If you want to shit on all things Manchester United and state we’re not a big club you can do that in one of the other hundreds of threads on here. You’ll find lots of people willing to help you to that end. It’s very hip at the moment. This debate was very simple - David Moyes’ reactive, counter attacking style is not equipped to manage and succeed at a club that wants to win leagues and CLs. I’m not hugely convinced his management style is equipped to manage big players either. If you want to disagree with that point and declare he’s ready to manage City or Liverpool when Pep/Klopp leave then go ahead. Personally I think you’re off your rocker. West Ham is a great job for him and he’s doing brilliantly. I’m happy for him as some of the nonsense he got thrown at him was out of order. The club he inherited was built around one man and not fit for purpose structurally to support him. It doesn’t mean I want him back here.
If I remember correctly that massive support were fighting each other in the stands when he took over.
As for Rice, can you please clarify what in West Ham's game vs Lyon made you comment this? You, yourself said it wasn't his performance. You also claim it wasn't his goal. Was it purely the occasion that he participated in a game?
(And I also rate Rice quite highly, just find the comment strange, and your reasoning even stranger)
At this point do you rate Declan Rice is a litmus test to see if anyone knows feck all about football.
If I misconstrue what you meant, I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend you. I am directly addressing your posts and am not making any effort to add emotion or opinion.
