still gets no respect
I’m not offended mate! Because the post I was responding to insinuated that David Moyes was already at a big club challenging for top trophies using their massive top support as proof - and stated it was “bizarre” to even suggest he isn’t suited to managing a big club or challenging for top trophies because he’s already at one doing it. I disagree with this notion…and using their support as the reason for them being a big club is stupid because 18 months ago they were fighting each other in the stands - nobody was praising it - in fact it was a hindrance. As for Rice - there was a debate about him being bang average in that thread before he scored. I was making a general statement about Rice’s obvious quality - his goal and performance in that game should be irrelevant to anyone’s opinion on him at this stage - it was pretty clear to see he’s a very good footballer at least 12 months ago. So we agree on Moyes. On West Ham. And Rice. I also agree with most of what you write about Ole!Can you please clarify what was the point of this part of your post then? (Which I addressed. And also, btw, I am not saying Moyes is good enough for a top club, or that West Ham are a top club, either.)
As for Rice, can you please clarify what in West Ham's game vs Lyon made you comment this? You, yourself said it wasn't his performance. You also claim it wasn't his goal. Was it purely the occasion that he participated in a game?
(And I also rate Rice quite highly, just find the comment strange, and your reasoning even stranger)
If I misconstrue what you meant, I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend you. I am directly addressing your posts and am not making any effort to add emotion or opinion.
