David De Gea

Straight swap for Morata and Rodriguez.

Accept nothing less!

Nah, keep DDG and let them keep Morata and Rodriguez...

The ADM experience wasn't what I wanted from a signing, and buying Madrid bench warmers so that Madrid can replace them with players we'd actually want ain't my idea of good business.

feck 'em, would rather not deal with them at all.

Donnaruma to real in 18-19 according to Cope. Looks like all noises are that we will keep David.

I told you all this a while back :D Dave will stay and sign a new deal.

They obviously don't want to pay a lot of money for a 'keeper. That should signal to De Gea how little he's valued by Perez. Good news for us.

I don't think he minds staying either as he seems happy in Manchester. Also if Madrid goes for Donarumma that's it for their pursuit of Dave.

That's a dream scenario. Dave's only destination would then be stay or Atletico (if he's desperate to live in Madrid) and doubt they'd spend 75m on a kepper especially when they have Oblak.

Marca:

The decision is already made. Except for an unexpected turn and an unexpected change of direction, the goalkeeping situation of Real Madrid will not undergo any changes in its two main actors. Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla will remain the benchmark for Zinedine Zidane for the goal, ruling out the incorporation of David de Gea and Gian Luigi Donnarumma in this summer market, as MARCA's sources have reported.

I don't think this one is over. Madrid will still persist this Summer imo.

Be brilliant if he does stay though.

Doubt it, last summer when Marca went with Real are not signing him, they backed off. This is them climbing down IMO after we probably told them how much they would have to pay

Best news. Keeping DDG is even happier to make big signings.

Also, open the door for us to make offer for RM players without the fear they would ask DDG in return.

Is this the same Marca that the majority of the Caf ridicule when they post something that maybe we don't agree with/don't like hearing?

Same thing with all "sources".

Post something we like, they're reliable and everyone goes searching for bits of information they did get right.

Post something we don't like/don't want to hear, everyone goes searching for the information they were bullshitting on.

It's amazing how the credibility of certain individuals or outlets changes depending on whether it's good or bad news.

Marca is a Real mouth piece, if Real were chasing a player they wouldn't lie and say they're not longer interested.

EDIT: The same thing happened last summer.

Great news.

I wonder if theres a bit of drama going on behind the scenes here with the whole Moratta price and Ed telling them to do one so if they think they are signing De Gea for anything under 200m

While its nice to hear that Zidane apparently doesnt want Dave, what Perez wants almost always matters more. If he is not going then lets extend his contract for a couple more years!

Like I said before, I told David De gea to stay AND Ed Woodward. Didnt catch it on video but uploaded a photo of him seconds after I told him to make sure De gea stays and he gave me thumbs up.

I was so drunk so I wrote "David gill":lol:

Yes, look at the photo im going to send. I didnt record when I told him that but I took a photo.

Haha, Im telling you! His smile said it all. Go on and promote me someone! Or send some + to me So i can finally upload the photos and videos I had from that day.

Nice shot of Ed's head

It has been clear for sometime that Madrid aren't keen on him. I have always been bemused by the assumption that he's off.
He had a €50m release clause last season and Madrid did feck all.
I also think he realises Madrid don't really want him.
Every report that has come out from his camp have said he's happy and will not push for a move.
I read that as "I will be here as long as the club want me".

.

To steal another posters phrase, it'll be a dick waving contest should United and Madrid ever get talking to each other.

Both have players the other team wants, both see themselves as the biggest clubs in the world and both have differing versions of fax-gate. Add to that the seemingly toxic vibe between the 2 clubs at the moment.

Whether it's de Gea or Morata both clubs are in for a long summer.

If its true then I'm glad we are making a stand but at the same time we are cutting off an avenue to get some of the worlds best players that get pushed out of Real year after year. Again, if true, it will make signing James and Moratta difficult without silly money and that looks like what will happen. Overall though it is better even if we have to overpay for their talent as standing up to them and let them know they just can't click their fingers and get our best players is obviously better long term.

United should steer well clear off Real when it comes to transfer dealings.

He'll retire here.

With fewer trophies than what he'd win at Real, but that's ok Davey:D

Well that may be a stretch, I think we can't look further then one summer at a time when Real are involved as they will likely come back the next time Perez or whoever decides over their morning dump it would be a good idea to get Dave again.

They said Real had bid £60m for him last week.
So? It's the next logical step. One week you bid £60 million, the next week you're not interested.

fecking Sky Sources - would anyone on here kick up a fuss if they were put on the blacklist?

You're right, but think they'll get Donnarunma (?) next summer.

Works for me. Best news I've ever read in Marca!

Heres hoping (I just have a felling he'll stay in Italy though), if they do get him then that will be an end to this annual madness for a least a few years anyway.

Great news. We need to keep our world class players.

Good news. From Madrid's perspective it would be lunacy to change a keeper who has won them a league and two consecutive CLs.
