David De Gea

Seems very strange and highly unlikely that they would bid few days before their biggest game of the season and risk unsettling some players and certainly the goalkeeper. If they was going to bid, it would be after the final. I am calling bullsh*t.

I think the club plan to hold out unless De Gea makes a transfer request and I don't think he'll make it.

This is what I thought too.

That's just not true. We don't have an unlimited budget.
Regardless of how well a business is doing, it still needs to trade carefully to keep the numbers right. It's amazing how that simple logic is lost on so many who would like to believe that money is no object to us.

If they offered Kroos in return I'd start talking. Maybe Isco too.

If he wants to leave I'd consider it, but if he's happy he and wants to play for the club I don't think we should accept any bid unless it's a world record fee +.
We don't need the money. We could if we wanted to, have a really productive transfer window without the money from the De Gea.
Sell De Gea for 80m, and replace with who? and for how much?

I don't think it will get done without a transfer request. Lets United say "we only want players who want to be here" rather than agreeing to sell their best player if he didn't want to go.
That's what I think. What I'm saying is I don't think a transfer request will be put in, ergo I don't think it'll be done (this summer).

Do you think it will be done? In other words, do you think he'll put in the transfer request?

Edit: Is that how you spell ergo?

I think this is absolute nonsense. Why bid three days before the CL final? The transfer window isn't even open until tonight, they have all summer to get this sorted if they're serious about it.

What's the source for this? Somehow I doubt they did this 3 days before they played the final of the CL for the love of god. If Perez really did this, I'd be absolutely furious if I was Zidane. He needs his team completely focused on Juventus and free of distractions

Waiting for both clubs to deny this tomorrow. Seems very odd.. but to be honest that bid should be accepted if he wanted to go.

I can imagine United telling De Gea, "if you want to go, it's on our terms and you have to put in a formal request".

No idea if it will happen of course. Hope so!

Is there anyone out there as good as him that is attainable? If not, then we shouldn't be thinking about selling him, in my opinion, regardless of what's being offered.

With jose mourinho its that way . You know how he deals.

No.

For £120m I would sell. He is the best goalkeeper in the world and unless we literally got that amount it would weaken our squad for next season, which is not our aim for this transfer window.

So you can imagine us being competent in selling our better players? It would be about time for us.

What a way to distract your current in form keeper ahead of the biggest game in club football

How is that being cheap? You guys are fecking crazy.
Surely worth a substantial multiplier of what City have just paid or about to pay for an unproven GK from the Portuguese league

We're talking about one of the three best in the world, playing for his country, moving from a team who do not have a financial need to sell, a player who has years on his contract so no urgency to sell, selling to a CL rival, albeit one that hasn't won the treble (@Party Boy)

Surely you can see how £60m is cheap, or at least how it would take a lot more. If you want him, you'll have to pay big, and in today's market that's not going to be big enough

A cool 100m. Any less and Real can feck off.

As long as we dont bend over and let them shaft us im not overly bothered if he wants to go. Something tells me Ed is the giver and madrid better assume the posistion.

No one that's close. Would be mental to sell a keeper that's already the best keeper (arguably) in the world at 26. Money doesn't matter one bit for the club so if he's sold it's a proper bad sign that the club isn't moving forward imo.
