What am I missing? Didn't the tweet say he's not looking to leave
If the price is right (£65 million) it looks as if United will let De Gea go.

Ballbag is hinting that it is United that are slowly pushing him out to leave.
What bollocks
If that was the case all De Gea would have to do is publicly announce that he wants to stay atleast that way we know where everyone stands
Not convinced Real will pay that.If the price is right (£65 million) it looks as if United will let De Gea go.
Shades of what happened with LvG here.
Clearly something not quite right but for lightening to strike twice with two different managers you have to wonder what's going on behind the scenes and if De Gea is causing issues.
Mourinho has made it clear he wants players who want to play for the club. If De Gea doesn't and is causing disruption then send him on his way.
Jack Butland.
You're the one who's bringing up claims without substance (Madrid will not match his salary, yeah right) I just provided you with facts that 3 years ago they were paying a keeper close to that amount. Him being captain is irrelevant for someone like Perez. If he sees a toy he likes, salary won't be the issue. He also will want to make good for his fax bungle.
The key in all of this is how much Woodie and Mourinho demand in return. If they go for double the record for a keeper, then he'll back off. But salary won't be the issue. They pay plenty in Madrid.
I'm with you on this, especially in the final! Just doesn't make sense dropping your best players for a match that will define whether we make CL or not. Doesn't matter if he's off or not. Don't remember Fergi dropping Ronaldo when we all knew he was off to Madrid and see no reason we should be dropping David now.I was all for Romero starting but that back 4 last match changed my mind. We are going to have moments in that game where it's mass panicky and a reflex save is needed. David needs to play.
Yes if he drops him and De Gea plays shit everyone will cry but if Dea Gea doesn't play and Romero does shit he is always screwed.
when both options leave you in the shit, use your head, pick the best keeper in the world. It makes sense.
Howard was pretty rubbish TBH and VDS was a massive upgrade that cost the club couple of million pound. Even the best replacements to DDG would be below his level and then you'd have to fork out a substantial part of the money to bring in a keeper with no EPL experience who may or may not be better than Romero. I think it's totally worth the gamble to at least give the guy who has been around the club and knows the players a shot for a season before making a decision. That money would be better spent elsewhere. To all those saying "it's just a goal keeper", why did we need to sign Van der Sar? Howard was a decent.
Any two of Isco, Morata and James would be nice.If he wants to leave, we should just sell and save ourselves the summer distraction. We just need to fleece Madrid as much as possible.
It's insane you have the best keeper in the world and treat him like a reserve for the last month of the season. Our best player for the past 4 years and one of our only world class players treated like some cast-off.
I'd only do that deal if we were 100% convinced Bale could recapture the form he showed for Spurs and his first few seasons for Real. As a lot have said on here, a lot of his injuries have been muscular and have occured quite frequently over the past 2 seasons. The previous rumours that Perez wanted Bale to be his superstar after Ronaldo have seemed to have simmered down too.David de gea for Bale? I think this rumour will start very soon.
So you don't want us to win the Europa League then?I love de gea but if he leaves i hope he doesn't win another single medal in he's career. And also eats a dodgy meal and he's then stuck on bog for a day or two.
Good point. We should just ask Atletico who they'd hypothetically replace Oblak with and save ourselves a load of moneyHard to believe that Atletico have had De Gea, Courtois and then Oblak in such a short space of time. Probably 3 of the top 5 keepers in the world at present.
I don't understand why people are so keen on Bale. Maybe that's just me not being a big fan of him, but with all his injuries on top all I can see is that being a big let down. Not that I think it'll happen.David de gea for Bale? I think this rumour will start very soon.
I think way too much is made out of "he is dropped from the Southampton game",
If the plan is to play Romero in the finals then it makes sense to play him against Southampton to keep him sharp for the finals. Also last game doesn't matter, so why not give one of the youngster a chance who had to cut shot his loan deal.
Correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't followed the entire discussion but weren't you the one who claimed that they wouldn't pay top wage for a GK? When you make a claim like that, the burden of proof lies with you. You can't just say that and then ask the other guy to produce stats to prove you wrong. What is this if not conjecture?
Firstly, 165k is not close to 200k. Also, they don't pay high for keepers else they would have just paid up and taken DDG. They wanted a cut price deal for a Spanish young keeper who is doing well. That's it. Don't try to make it sound like a Galactico signing where the fans and their former players are all giving interviews trying to tap DDG up and RM are willing to throw money at us.
We will know very soon though what's going to happen.
