Been done before

Da-veed De Hey-a

That's a decent approximation. For purists I'll repeat my earlier post:

If you know IPA: (roughly) /da'β̞ið̞ de 'xea/

'Da' - more or less as in English dad. For the 'd' the tongue touches the teeth, not the little ridge behind it as in English. The /a/ is about halfway between the vowels in Mancunian dad and posh southern dart (but short).
'v' - put your lips together like a /b/ but then make a /v/ sound through them.
'i' - as in English beat (not long as in bead).
Final 'd' as in English breathe.

'de' - kind of like day, but shorten it so the top of your tongue doesn't rise towards an /i/ at the end.

Gea - like the 'ch' in loch, the vowels as above in 'de' and 'Da-'. They are two separate vowels, not a glide between vowels, nor is there a glottal stop in the middle as we often do in English. I don't really know how to pronounce two vowels next to each other like that, but it seems the Spanish do.

You can hear it here.

Or alternatively, you can just call him 'David the Gay'.

feck it, I'm calling him Dazza.

I got bored about halfway through and decided David de Gayer is easier

Yes, please learn how to pronounce his name correctly. It is not difficult.

I have said this before, but I am saying it again because I feel it is important. Many fans still cannot properly pronounce Chicharito, and that is very disappointing.

It's simples.....Chico!!!

Look at the length of his fingers in this photo. Im taking this as a good sign for us. Gloves must be specially made for him. You know what they say with people with long fingers.................? I'll leave the space for your comments for that :D

"He would not come out the car while photographers were there to start with, the sheet was from the hospital itself #MUFC"
"Afraid they sent out a decoy car and ushered him out the back, no photographers got any shots of him leaving today"

A lot of people still can't get their heads round the fact there is no s at the end of charlie adam. I'm not gonna be holding my breath.

I don't get it: why is his name supposed to be so difficult to pronounce? It's quite straightforward if you ever heard Spanish names before.

whats his problem then?

Good news that this is finally being sorted.

A top quality central midfield or two and we will be more than ready for the coming season.

I dunno, agents might factor into him wanting to keep it secret.

 Ronaldo was right, he actually does look a bit like a sausage

I know someone mentioned this a few pages ago but I thought he spoke very good English.

I assumed he spoke english.

Nope apparently he doesn't speak English.. Well not fluently atleast.. Diego Forlan was interviewed about a week ago and confirmed that the only language he spoke was Spanish (although I am sure DDG has been taking some classes) Also the MEN had an article recently in which his School Teachers said he wasn't very fluent with English.. Otherwise he was a top notch student..

whats his problem then?

I dunno, agents might factor into him wanting to keep it secret.

Definitely about the agents.. But what doesn't make sense to me is this: Does DDG actually think his agent isn't already aware of the deal between Man United and himself? Its the football worlds worst kept secret.. Its been a well accounted for fact ever since Gary Neville's testimonial that the Deal was all but done..

Well legally no contract will be signed until the 1st of July.. But this silliness of the white sheets is just pushing it.. I am sure his old agent is well aware and wont be that uptight about it.. Its 4 days away for crying out aloud.. Or am I just being naive?

Using white sheets to 'hide' De Gea is just hilarious
