The young deal was confirmed one day after the medical, but young had just returned from holiday whilst de gea is leaving on holiday. I think that there is a good chance it will be done today if he is in a hurry to leave on holiday

Apparently he'll begin to learn English this summer, at least he has Chicha and 'Tonio to chat with. Also apparently our staff have been using Rosetta Stone to learn a bit of Spanish to help him settle.
I know someone mentioned this a few pages ago but I thought he spoke very good English.

Excellent signing. Ferrgie's really sticking his neck out this summer and it's good to see. We tend to spend most heavily after a successful season and we've seen it again this summer. Fergie knows when to keep players on their toes, which is key to his continued success.

Of course not but once the medical is completed and everything is signed then y wait. The young deal was completed a day later because there was no hurry so he went to old trafford the next day.
De gea will almost certainly get everything sorted today so no need to wait till tomorrow

The amount of times people have said something similar to that... It rarely works out that way. Somewhere along the line we'll probably pick someone up who jumps in front of one of the others in the pecking order, or one of the players will have a dip or injury trouble. We'll be quite lucky if they all do a brilliant job in squad roles or more for the next couple of years simply because we're talking about so many players and a lot can and probably will happen during that time.
He needs to bulk up.

for what its worth, if we get better players in the defence over the period of next 5 years (they are sure to be really good considering what we already have in place)

'07 was more exciting due to the attacking talent we signed.
Tried the Rosetta Stone-method. IMO it's not a great and not a fun way to learn a language.
