I was pretty good at writing on books at School. I was particularly good at writing communications in images of General Custer & Engines... and of course the aul knobs & bollox's...

Now that the Under 21's over, do we expekt him to be confirmed next week? Not sure if he's had a medical yet or will go on holiday now. Hope it's done soon anyway.
 
I'm sure he'll toddle off on holiday now, so it wont be done July 1st specifically. We'll have to wait like we did with Young.

In every game I've seen him he looks confident and is able to stay in the game even if the opposition have barely had a shot.
 
Sky Sports News are currently saying he is close to signing. This is mainly down to Sky Spanish Football Correspondent Graham Hunter who thinks he will sign before he goes on Holiday.
 
He will make mistakes, thats not a question. Its all about how he bounces back from a mistake. Some keepers (ie Foster and Howard) let it destroy their United career. VDS made mistakes but never let it affect the rest of his season (nor rest of his game)

DeGea has really good control of his box. Keeper is a position I think we need to wrap up asap so he can work on his communication with the defenders as much as possible before the season starts.
 
De Gea looks like a smart keeper in terms of distribution aswell, he doesn't just boot the fecking thing anywhere, he feeds the wing backs or the central midfielder. With him in goal, he really suits the type of game Spain have perfected (Possession, lack of long balls)
 
He doesnt just kick though. He sees it for what it is or should be, a pass or distribution.

He shouldn't be pressured about the job. Its just that he will be a record signing (for a goalkeeper) who will be playing with the vice champions of Europe, with 70k spectators watching him nearly week in week out and with Vidic in front of him who wouldn't be happy if he does mistakes. Apart from that he will be fine.
