David de Gea signs | Confirmed

I think De Gea became our main target around the time Eric Steele watched him along with Sir Alex when he was scouting Valencia. For our up coming match against them in the Champions League.

I think other targets in that time would have been Neuer, Patricio and Stekelenburg. I don't think Lloris or Adler would of been high up any list.
 
It's gone a bit quiet on the Aguero front lately. Seeing as Barca will probably sign one of Sanchez and Rossi, I wonder if the De Gea-to-United stuff conveniently smokescreens United negotiations for Aguero (as well as DDG)?

Maybe it's just me but I found the interview really underwhelming. He's obviously a very calm character and foreigners don't have the same excitement as British players towards playing for United but he seemed a bit.... reluctant?

Probably been told to keep his mouth shut until the deal is done.
 
Get the feeling he's not that fussed about coming to England, for United or any club.

I think the De Gea/united decision has been made.

Even if he is coming, he is going to deny it till the end of the month when he changes agents. He cannot say anything to suggest the deal is done with a new agent representing him can he?

If he isnt coming, I'm sure the club would know by now.
