By the way maybe its a little easier in La LIGA for young kid to stay in first team. Say hypothetically Valdes in one match makes 2 mistakes. And Barca because of him concede 2 goals. They still gonna win the match 4-2 or 5-2. GD doesnt matter much. So valdes wont get that much criticism. Now if a Keeper makes 2 mistakes in EPL game, doesnt matter if he even stands in Man United goal. He will most likely cost his team the match.

To be fair, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about how well this kid will cope coming straight in as our number one, at such a young age, in a new country/league.

He'll have pre-season as a transition period. That's all someone should need.
Depends how many games he gets against PL teams in pre-season. It will take him a few games to get used to the pace and intensity the game is played at in England. Not to mention how little protection the refs will give him, compared to Spain.
Keepers get more protection than anyone, in fact to be honest I think they get too much, you can't go near the keeper any more without the ref blowing his whistle.
