The sunlit sky is blue because air scatters short-wavelength light more than longer wavelengths. Since blue light is at the short wavelength end of the visible spectrum, it is more strongly scattered in the atmosphere than long wavelength red light. The result is that the human eye perceives blue when looking toward parts of the sky other than the sun.

Ughh your so clever but you own an Iphone ;) Android is for geeks!!

I had to miss the game yesterday due to work. Does anyone have a video of his individual highlights/saves throughout the game?

Find the best odds and bet on the Champions League.
Manchester United target David de Gea has spoken of his admiration for Edwin van der Sar, but admitted he wanted Barcelona to win the Champions League final.

De Gea is reportedly being lined up to replace the Dutch keeper, who retired at the end of last season.

The Spanish keeper told Gazzetta dello Sport: "The fact they are thinking of me as a replacement for such a great goalkeeper is something I like. But it’s necessary to keep fighting and working hard because we are only at the beginning and to reach that level there is a lot more to be done."

He added: "Let’s hope [I can play like Van der Sar at his age]. At the moment it’s difficult to look so far ahead, but I would like to [be able to]. I need strength, luck and to take good care of my body because football consumes you. But let’s hope so."

United will have to wait until after the Under-21 European Championships to make a move for the Atletico Madrid No.1, with the goalkeeper saying he will not speak about his future until then.

When questioned about potentially becoming the most expensive goalkeeper in history, De Gea replied: "It doesn’t interest me, they are numbers, clauses, prices. The value that really counts is that which is shown on the pitch, not what they say your value is. Money is secondary, being so expensive is not something I like especially; I’m interested in what people think of me on the playing field."

However, the 20-year-old has confessed to supporting United's Champions League final opponents at Wembley last month.

De Gea said: "[I supported] Barcelona [in the final], but without any special euphoria."

I have a feeling we'll know by the 27th if he's coming here for definate or not. (The final is on the 26th and we usually announce our signings on a Monday)

He'll come no doubt.

I don't want to be a smart ass now, but that's what I said after the first match against Schalke in the other De Gea thread:

Having analyzed recent comments from SAF, VDS and Neuer I think it all starts to make sense.

VDS said to the Dutch press, that we've already made a choice on who will be his successor, but won't tell who it is. This indicates, that we're pretty sure on getting our man, maybe even have a deal in place. Hence the "United was never an option" Neuer comments he made when questioned repeatedly by the German press about his possible transfer to Man United. It is possible he knows United have decided on another GK to succeed VDS and maybe even have a deal in place, so, in fact, they're not an option for him.

As for SAF's comments, it's only normal to praise a player after such a fantastic performance against your team. That does not mean you will do everything to sign him. In fact, Fergies comments suggest otherwise - that he thinks Neuer is bound on joining Bayern. Such comments are to be expected if in fact we already decided on someone else to succeed VDS - what else can he say?

So, based on VDS comments I genuinely believe we already have a deal in place for VDS's successor. Knowing Fergie, he may as well pull a rabbit out of the hat (in terms of signing a GK who has hardly been linked with us) but this time I think it's of very high probability that we're signing De Gea.

Whether it is a good choice, only time can tell.

Certainly now it looks like I was spot on. :D

"look, the circus around his signing is starting to do my head in... its either he just signs or we look for an alternative, its simple. utd will not be held as mugs by no playa"

What's the article on about? Most expensive in history? He's going to be under £20m. Buffon was £32m.

Eejits.

I don't think we are waiting for the Euro's to end, I think we are waiting for the agent issue to resolve itself. Hopefully that will be July 1st, but it could be August 19th apparently.

Well, I'm pretty sure that no matter when he will be officialy signed, he'll clarify his situation to the press after the Euro U21s, so we should know one way or the other by the end of June.

Or at least I hope so.

When's his next U21 game? I might actually watch him.

You really should, you can't help but be impressed by the confidence and sense of calm he exudes never mind his ability.

Last game he was very eager to get the ball out quickly and start attacks. No crazy Dane throw or Dutch long kick but nevertheless, it should suit us well.

Atletico fans always back Barca, in the same way we'd cheer Everton over Liverpool but on a much larger scale, most Spanish fans have a second team.

So he signs for us does well and then leaves for Barcelona in about 5 years - we make a profit.

I'd love to see us sign a keeper who support our opponents

I don't know anything," he said. "I don't know what goalkeepers Alex Ferguson likes. I'm just a normal goalkeeper, a discrete one.

"Being Atletico's goalkeeper is completely different to being United's and I'm not quite sure what he's looking for."
