Have they nothing better to talk about? Slate Reina, Jaaskelinen, Given, Green etc. and feck off.

Most of these pundits know feck all about players. I have opinions on United players because I watch them all the time. These feckers on tv and radio only get an impression of a player and then follow the herd.
I mean, honestly, how many keepers come out for every cross AND catch it each time? Not even the darling of the pundits, Joe Hart, manages this.
I wonder, just on counting the number of saves DDG pulls off compared with his ricks on crosses, do these pundits have a sense that DDG has saved our asses more than he has contributed to losses?
Yeah, we all want the perfect keeper, but how many of us would prefer a keeper that catches every cross (even though the result of that cross is uncertain) but never stops a shot?
BTW those that think Lindegaard is a better keeper than DDG? No, he isn't.

Way more people watch United than all the other clubs, so it's only natural they'll talk about him. The main thing is that DDG doesn't watch ESPN. Are they lynching him on ESPN Deportes too? :nervous:

Lindegaard is a solid keeper from what I've seen. De Gea has the tools to be the best keeper of this generation.

We're a bit sensitive on here with our Dave aren't we? He's had a lot of praise from what I've heard/read after his difficult start. Most sane pundits acknowledge him for what he is - a keeper with vast potential who can make a few mistakes due to age and inexperience.

I've never seen a pundit praise his performances as a whole or anything.

Would help if someone like Gary Neville stuck his neck out and said he's fantastic, like he did with Aguero ;)

When Lindegaard signed the new contract I am sure there was a deal done on appearances.

If it is rotation it's a shit idea, didn't help last season and not going to do much good this year.

If he's been dropped that's even worse considering his performances so far this season and that he wasn't as much at fault as people made out for the second goal against Fulham.

Oh for feck sake, I bet he isn't even injured but Fergie will say he took a knock. So fecking gay.

Not even on the bench so could be injured. Makes no sense whatsoever otherwise. Specially since he made a mistake last game.

Yep must be injured. Relax everyone.

EDIT: Wait he's on the bench now?

So dropped then. Man, getting fed up with the whole rotating thing. Just stick to 1 goalie please.

Rotating him really is just stupid, he clearly got better and better last season as he got to keep playing. Why in the world would we think rotating him is a good idea, it didn't work last year and I can't imagine it'll work this year.

He's not injured. Joke of a decision. Last season it didn't help at all, and now it's happening again.

When Rio is back and we have our best back four - de Gea is on the bench.

He played with Ferdinand and Vidic in front of him for 321 minutes... in his 41 appearances for United.

Frogie pls.

Makes no sense whatsoever then. The first time this season we have a proper back four and we decide to rotate our keeper. I have no problems with Lindegaard and think he'll do well, but rotating keepers just 3 games in is silly.

If Fergie doesn't have faith in a young, but promising goalkeeper, why sign him and give him the no. 1 shirt? He should have just signed an experienced goalkeeper.

When Rio, Vida and DDG are fit they should be starting. Rotating when there are no injuries is a strange decision to put it mildly - none of the other big teams do it and neither should we.

It doesn't have to be that big a deal. This is a game lidegaard can play in, he deserves game time as well and had a good game for the reserves, pulling off a brilliant double save.

Who on earth rotates keepers? I can't think of a major team other than us that thinks this is a good idea.

I can only think it's because he's young and Fergie wants to protect as he did with other young players, no matter how talented.

No other explanation.

He's hardly protecting him by benching him. He'l be targeted even more both on and off the pitch. The lad needs a vote of confidence when he makes a mistake, not to be dropped.

I know Fergie likes to rotate, but he's sort of taking it to another level lately.

I understand the rotation policy but rotating goalkeepers doesn't make sense unless DDG is being dropped for the mistake against Fulham.

Dropping De Gea when he was in fine form shattered his confidence last season, and arguably cost us the title. Good to see Fergie's learnt from that mistake...

Fergie'll never want him to win the golden gloves. When we play relegation fodder, De Gea's rested. Way to boost his confidence; not giving him a chance to keep a clean sheet in what would theoretically be an easy win for us.

This is why I didn't want Lindegaard still in the team; he's too good to be a #2, and he keeps getting Fergie to put him in on his bogus rotation policy. If our second option was Ben Amos, Fergie'd start De Gea rain or shine; and that's how he's going to become the best GK in the world.
