Yeah, I deleated it as it's probably bs. Not SSN official twitter.

Made up shite from some idiot.

Definite second choice for the time being.

He's got a real problem at the moment, not sure what is going to be the best way for the club to manage him and ensure he can come through this, as there's no doubt he's got no confidence and is going from error to error.

Was very surprised to see him start, not really the game I felt to throw him back in, wouldn't surprise me if we don't see him for a while, might play against Ajax

It's bullshit, it has came from 'SkySporksNews' twitter and people are re-tweeting it without realising it's fake.

Because with your approach United would be getting cacked on every week. Any manager worth his salt must know when to admit a mistake and take a hard decision, even it it cost the club 18 mill or 32 mill in the case of a certain Bulgarian, to name two egs.

You just hate it because I, and a few have been right all along ... I take a bit of pleasure in that, if only because it partly justifies my eye for the game but not because I want DDG to fail ... from day one he didn't look ready, and I'm still not convinced he does actually have all the qualities to be a top class keeper.

Anyway, SAF & his backroom staff should no better, you'd think.

Are you saying that they should know better or shouldn't?

He was arguably MoM in the league game earlier this season.

I really should learn to stay out of a thread about DDG after we have lost a match. Really is depressing how people put him down.

I know, he was great today!

But seriously, his biggest problem is his physique. The other problems are confidence issues and his positional sense can be trained. But he needs time to grow and fill out which could take a while. In the meantime Lindegaard should be our number 1.

I can't believe this is an actual post that someone actual thought out...:lol:

Didn't get to watch the match, but having just watched the highlights, I think he should've done better on both goals.

It's happened often that he lets shots hit straight at him through his legs. Perhaps a result of his eagerness to parry with his feet?

And the first goal, he would've saved if he'd realized he would get no where near that ball.

But, have to say, Patrice Evra, the way he switched off for the second goal.. That's just horrific.

It didn't go through his legs.

The only tiny criticism of the second goal was I think a confident goalkeeper would have rushed out at the feet of the striker whereas De Gea stayed on his line hoping to save the shot.

Just watched the higlights from 101greatgoals, so not the best of clips.

I thought he could've got something to that anyway. It was hit basically almost straight at him.

Evra's fault in the main, though, letting a player through one on one against your keeper due to simply switching off is not acceptable at this level, and will get punished.

Perhaps, but a lot has happened between now and then
I thought it was a surprising decision he played, and he's going to need some careful managing over the remainder of the season

He's saying he knows better than SAF.

Well, they get to see him all the time ... more than you or I, so yes you'd certainly think he/they knew what they were doing (ON THIS ISSUE).

... If I'm being brutally honest I suspect he's rather disappointed with both keepers and really has no option but to get on with it, which frankly is the least of his worries ... its not like the rest of the team are purring like a rolls-royce merlin engine.

Explain yourself laddie ... I don't follow your lulz.:wenger:

Well the bit in bold is the killer, but there is also the implication that you know better then SAF & his backroom staff, that DDG is a 100% failure at this point (he's 21 FFS), that Berbatov has also been a failure for us... but who am I kidding, it's really just the fact that you actually said that it "justifies your eye for the game"

It's decided I now officially consider him as a shit keeper... it'll be really hard for him to win me again.

Chelsea @ OT. He was superb in that game.

From what I recall he made one or two decent saves but that's about it. My overall feeling after that Chelsea match was we were quite lucky and the scoreline flattered us. Had they actually bothered to bring their shooting boots we would of been in real trouble... All ifs and buts though really...

fecking classic post, Berbatov has a golden boot to his name, what a flop!

You're eye clearly isn't as good as you like to think.

I took a lot of stick, against the tide, for trying to convince folks that Fletcher was worth persevering with, that I thought Berbatov was a mistake for the way United played the game, and at this point I don't see the blind optimism the some folks are sharing wrt DDG.

I'm not an arrogant feck but if I was asked what 'My chosen subject' (it you know what I'm referring to here) was then I'd say football - its an obsession.

BTW you're the one that talks about '100% failure' ... looking at you pal.:nono:

Well, neither of our goakeepers are what you call world class. We are probably going to go through that gap similar to when Smikes left and we got Van de saar. I think de Gea will come good...but perhaps not for a few years..

Didn't you also say Craig Gordon was the best 'keeper in the league?

Aye... what an eye you have.

Next false start and you're disquailified.

Berbatov ... why's he not getting played then ? SAF finally realised that he wasn't going to be the solution. Obviously a very (well certainly was) talented individual but sometimes you just don't suit.

I don't know what where going to do in goal but all the changes around keepers is no good, why where rotating goalkeepers is anyones guess and can't be much good for either of them. I think long term De Gea will come good you can see that natural ability but he will continue to be targeted if he keeps flapping at crosses. I'd bring VDS back in as a coach and let him mentor him pass on his experience.
