No chance. There's people at home watching that thinking "This is going to be a walkover now, Chisnall vs Taylor? Not thanks." Studd lets the audience at home know that he's beaten him before, and tries to provoke Taylor into doing his own bit for the final "Yeah he played really well that day and if he can do that again there's no reason he can't beat me. It certainly won't be easy; anyone who thinks that is mistaken." That's a fairly easy and bog-standard answer to give, and he just went on the offensive and started insulting Studd. Out of order. You could see he was in a mood from the start.
Also, note how for nearly every interview he does he starts with his back to the camera signing autographs. Call me a cynic but that's no accident. He knows the cameras are watching, and he'll make sure he's doing his but while they're on.
And if Wade did tell him that he gave up, that's not his info to divulge in my opinion. We all know what Wade's been through mentally, what if something just went on stage where he thought "feck it, what's the point?" Sports stars have an ability to keep fighting when they're up against it, and the top ones thrive in that scenario. I don't believe Wade does, or at least he's much more prone than most to letting it get to him. Taylor could easily have said "You'll have to ask him yourself."
In short, Taylor was being an arsehole as per, and I imagine he'll apologise once again.
