Darts

That last set with a 11 darter, 10 darter and 11 darter. Otherworldly stuff that

Struggled to get going then suddenly produces that set. Mental level

The interview just reminds us how young he is. He must be feeling tremendous pressure this year compared to last. He's still a kid

Rydz

Smith is in a spot of bother, I was expecting an easy 3-0 but finds himself 3-0 down and missing a lot of darts at doubles.

The hair is masterpiece in placement.

On Smith always flatters to deceive you see things like he played a Players Championship with a high average etc but every time he gets on a main stage he seems a bit of a bottle job

Thought Smith losing on the last game was going to be the shock of round 2, but Anderson has said hold my beer.

Good job all 3 games have finished 3-0 with Dimi on last, he will probably go as slowly as humanly possible.

Outside of the two Luke's there's not that much between the rest of the field and the useeded players so to speak. Seen it all to often in a few majors before the World's. It'll be Humphries or Littler in the final against who anybodies guess, wide open half of the draw.

Cullen comes across as a complete dick. I hope Price smashes him.

Should've stayed professional but I can definitely understand where he's coming from. A lot of people, both in the industry as e.g. in this very thread, were calling for Nijman as the dark horse in that side of the bracket because he "only needed to get past Cullen" - you'd have thought he was the established player instead of Cullen there.

Price has been a way bigger dick than this over the last couple of years both to other players as to the public.

He admits himself he had a bad year, and is upset the bookies agree with him? He’s been an absolute idiot there and in his post match interview.

Best way to stop the doubters is to win. Which he won’t, Price will knock him out.

His Skysports interview on stage wasn't great either. I see his point about Nijman, he's done nothing yet to warrant the hype. If he hadn't been found guilty of match fixing then probably by this 2025 tournament he'd have been up there.

To be fair, he should have been the underdog based on this year's performances. He hasn't being playing well. Nijman has.

I don't understand why he'd be so upset about it. There'll be some amount of booing when he plays Price anyway.

Epic last set in Clayton-Mansell. The 136 and 154 outs from Mansell and 10 darter from Clayton came from nowhere. Nervy, incredibly scrappy play off and sudden death.

Not got into the darts yet, watched the earlier game but can’t really get into it until the top players play each other. Guess that is why I enjoy the premier league darts on a Thursday.

there aren’t going to be any seeds left if you leave it too long.
