After my praise of last night's session, Burton-Merkx was awful quality and deathly dull just now.
I remember that live too. Certain Wade won the set still in a real high quality last leg.

Imagine how much of a slog some games will be to watch when it goes to 128 players. Thankfully I was at work and it had finished when I got home.

i missed that it's going up to 128 and 32 extra matches. It's just greedy and will be deleterious to the quality of the tournament.

I've not seen mansell play before so maybe that's his usual style but that looked clear as day gamesmanship to me. A slow throwing action is one thing but he was taking an age to collect his darts and was deliberately staggering his walk back. Goto was constantly having his throw disrupted.
