Darts

It's madness, he looked mid 50s about 10 year ago.

Who sits front left near the stage? The players families?
Yep and 'VIPs', although last time I went is mainly corporate gigs. Has its own quiet bar though, which is the best bit.

He’s so bad under pressure, never known a player to lose so much when they have darts to win.

C'mon, he's playing Gerwyn Price, dude spent like 5 sets trying to finally win his title even without a crowd. Fair play he's got talent and all, but he puts the massive pressure on himself

That big fish was great but you just knew he was gonna lose the decider.

Belter that, especially that given to me, felt like the first semi-blockbuster match up so far.

Did you see his interview where he was on about him and Barney going to have the greatest game ever? And how he's better than both the Lukes... He's absolutely on some mad drugs.
I didn’t, but Wright has never lacked self belief.
The first 2 sets looks like we have the Wright of old and Wattimena’s few month purple patch has ended.

Scott Williams vs Pikachu could be a tetchy affair tomorrow. Hoping Searle wins the battle of the two Ryans. Littler and MVG should be comfortable, and hopefully Aspinall knocks out the awful Gilding. That leaves Rock v Dobey which is hard to call and I don’t care too much about.

Quite like Dobey but Hollywood doesn't suit him. Maybe House Elf.

:lol:Bit harsh, the old guy's just quite a slow player.
Sounds like I missed a cracker between Price and Cullen.

Thinking Joyce might edge Searle and then Williams and Asp. Middling selection this arvo.

Woodhouse celebrating the 9 darter for Heta was so refreshing to see.
It was genuinely refreshing. Can't pinpoint it but the amount of matches lost by the player who hits the nine. 16 or something in total at the World's and only a couple actually went on to win.
