I remembered he did well for Arsenal. His issue was his injury. He was always a hardworking player for Arsenal. I am happy for him to do well in Brighton. He takes good care of his body and still run alot in the field at the age of 32.Welbeck was like Bamby on ice always falling on his arse, when Arsenal signed him Wenger was away in Japan and was actually quoted as saying ”if I had my way we would have taken him on loan”.
Not surprised he didn’t make it at Arsenal and moved to little Brighton, he was not good enough to be a United player or an Arsenal player but he has somehow managed to find his feet at Brighton.
Welbeck is not clinical in front of goals, however he is a really hard working player.Welbeck has scored 20 goals for Brighton, in four season.
20 goals.
One of the most technically gifted players to have come from United, but my word he has never been a goalscorer.
