Who has been better than Danny Welbeck for us attacking this year?
Anyone?
Anyone?
Considering we got nothing for Hernandez or Nani and just £6 million for Kagawa, £16 million for Welbeck is an amazing deal. The only problem is we might very well have given Arsenal what they need to finish in front of us, which will cost a lot more money

He's no great loss, no more than an average player. Van Gaal saw that for himself.
Rooney is finished. No pace, can't beat a man and actively get's in the way of RVP/Mata. The sooner he's gone the better.
It doesnt though does it. Plenty of other clubs get good fees for players they dont want - Chelsea with Mata, Real Madrid with Ozil and so on. We seem to accept the first pathetic offer
Your missing the point, 90 minutes to go and Arsenal don't have a striker, we have just handed them one on the plate. The RVP deal did little harm to Arsenal as we weren't competing with them, at the moment I would say were rivals.
Starting for us with the quality of striker we have?
He won't bang them in for Arsenal. People thinking he'll be a Sturridge, he won't be. He's not ruthless enough and doesn't have a goalscoring instinct. Sturridge was always miles better.
This is going to cost us 4th, and we fecking deserve it for being willing to sell a striker to Arsenal.
Yes he does. There's not a lot wrong with his game that can't be fixed. Can't say I agree. 1) Shaw is 4 years younger. 2) Shaw has the potential to be world class. Welbeck doesn't.
He'll be the next Daniel Sturridge.
Really disappointed to see Danny go. One of my favourite United players at the moment, a home grown player and always worked hard for the team. Shame he didn't find scoring goals natural and maybe we just can't carry a striker like that.
£16m is fecking ridiculous on deadline day when we have the bargaining power
Yes he does. There's not a lot wrong with his game that can't be fixed.
He kept passing the ball out of touch and barely created anything. Di Maria gets an easier ride because he's new, but he really wasn't that great. That Di Maria bloke was good tbf.
Welbeck can beat a man but can't finish, so what's the point in that?
He's no great loss, no more than an average player. Van Gaal saw that for himself.
It's been a long time since I've seen you posting. All well?I'd ask Welbeck or Balotelli but that might be a daft question on this forum given one's a red and the other has played for two major rivals.
I think Wenger will be happy here, a fast strong striker. And Welbeck will sleep well playing in the champs league with that midfield behind him.
I hope there is a buy back option, just incase.
Ridiculously good signing for Arsenal. 16m for a player that can play at any level
You know apart from creating our only 3 chances, he barely created anything. He kept passing the ball out of touch and barely created anything. Di Maria gets an easier ride because he's new, but he really wasn't that great.
