We shouldn't sell him to a rival club esp Arsenal. If they ask for Welbeck, we should propose an exchange for Ramsey with a straight face. Feckin Arsene wouldn't even let us have Vermaelan... Smalling plus cash for Vermaelan? Piss off...

LVG obviously thinking they are not a threat....thats the kinda shit I'm talking about. Personally I'd keep him tho ;)

Alan Smith is the only one running this. It may be true but can't say I trust him on transfer matters.

feck this. This potential deal has depressed me enough to ruin deadline day. I am out. I will look at the depressing news tomorrow and hope the blow of losing him is softened by us signing a big name defender/midfielder too.

we got Van Persie for 22-24m, if they're getting Welbeck for similar, it's hardly as dangerous!
Difference is they weren't competing for the title anyway, unlike Chelsea and City are. Situation is different. It is dangerous. If he suddenly finds scoring form.

it's a lot more sensible than loaning him there!

Why would we sell our only forward with pace, now that Hernandez is also gone? It just doesn't make sense. If Van Gaal cannot see that our attack is too static and slow, then I have to worry a little. I know too little of Falcao, but he's not the one who blasts past opponents, right? We have a serious lack of pace in the team atm, and none of our signings seem to remedy that. Selling Hernandez and Welbeck certainly doesn't help either.

Shocking this. Brilliant idea strengthening your close rivals.

It is considering Arsenal need a striker and he's 23/24. He could become their leading man for years. I know people say he's not clinical enough but give him a run of games up top and he'll score. Also his build up play is excellent, perfect for Arsenal. Shooting ourselves in the foot with this.

Seems like we not going to let Welbeck go until the Falcao deal is done.

If he is going, better be a permanent. A loan to Arsenal would be worse.
Woody better not let him go cheaply

Never mind, as a striker he is woeful.. hard working, quick blah blah blah but goal scoring record is utter tosh.
