If he goes to Arsenal he can really feck off, that would be very bad for a guy who's been here all his life, he should be loaned to Spurs or something.

A club who has asked him to move on! I don't hold any grudges against him him arsenal sign him and I think he will do very well there.

To hedge our bets and factor in a change of emotions, it should be a loan with our ability to call him back next year. If he can have a great break through year, and the feeling for us is still alive, we get back a better player.

Still if it's a full transfer, good luck to him. I'd rather he not leave but we have to back the LVG revolution with full commitment. Falcao is an upgrade on him and Hernandez anyway.

But why not? Surely it's more logical to lick players judging on their form than on names.

But Rooney and RVP have a history of being world class player. I'd be expecting them to perform much more than Welbeck.

While Welbeck's good, I want a striker to lead the line who can score 25+ goals. I want one who we can view as one of the best strikers in the world. There's no guarantee we get that with Rooney, RVP or even Falcao, but I don't think we're ever going to get it from Welbeck who was always likely to be a squad player here - something he clearly doesn't want to be.

Just tell them to feck off? It isn't that difficult.

Honestly, I'd rather him go on loan to Arsenal than Spurs. Spurs are a bit too brittle to hold onto a Top 4 spot, and I don't think Welbeck would flourish there, while I think Arsenal would probably be best for him to develop. If he does well at Arsenal, up goes his valuation goes up or we might choose to keep him & jettison another of the strikers. Of course, if he goes to Arsenal, it makes making the top 4 for us harder, but I'd rather Arsenal strengthened than Spurs. Spurs, with Pochettino, can be dangerous.

They'd likely have an option to buy though at a given price. Also, I'd definitely prefer him to go to Spurs.

SSN saying he's having a medical at Arsenal.

If Arsenal want to buy Welbeck then fair play to them, I certainly wouldn't be losing any sleep over it.

With the signing of Falcao (if it's permanent ) it's effectively the death warrent on his career here so he doesn't have any choice but to go as he now has 3 top class strikers to compete against, and he just isn't good enough to do that.

Don't bloody loan him out to Arsenal. What if they finish above us through his goals?

I'm more annoyed about Arsenal getting Welbeck than us losing Welbeck to be honest.

I'm more annoyed at us selling Welbeck to Arsenal than I am happy we're signing Falcao.

Literally anyone else, even fecking Spurs.

If this is a sale, I hope we're getting over 25m. We're giving them a striker when they don't even have one.

We really are turning into Madrid. Replacing a young, talented youth product with a nice expensive new toy.

Us and Arsenal are scrapping for top 4. They need a striker so we give them one of ours. fecking joke. We'll regret this.

And Arsenal have a striker who'll suit them perfectly and still has lots of potential..

Feck off. At least ask for Ramsey in return.

He's a good player and that but he's massively overrated on here for some reason, even now, and we'll see that when he's playing week in, week out for Arsenal. His finishing is atrocious and I don't see it improving any time soon.

As I've said before, I think Wilson will be the better player by season end.

I'd rather Welbeck go Arsenal than Tottenham as I fecking hate Levy, and any opportunity to shaft him should be taken.

Yeah, I think he'll be helpful for Arsenal, but people don't seem to realise that he just wasn't good enough to be our main striker in the long term, and as long as that was the case he wasn't going to last forever.

I'd rather not sell to Arsenal, but it's not going to keep me up at night, especially when we've got Falcao ahead of them.

Anything less than 25m and were a joke. They badly need a striker. We dont need to sell him. Hes an English international and still young and were selling to a rival. They are desperate to buy him, were not desperate to sell him.

Id rather he not go, but if he is, then why the feck would you not get as much as you possibly could?

Yeah we'll surely regret selling a striker that can't finish for his life, with arguably the best striker on the planet..

I'm gutted, but I don't think we'll regret it.

I'll be honest, I think Danny is hugely overrated on here, and by United fans in general, for obvious reasons, but I think he'd be really good at Arsenal.
