The egg, definitely the egg, that saying makes no sense at all.
You don't understand the saying - "What comes first the chicken or the egg?" - ?

How did the egg get there?
Evolution, innit.A very, very slightly different version of chicken.
Welbeck has 9 goals in 17 PL appearances this season. Negredo has 9 in 24. Yet one is called the donkey and other is called the beast by most.
Striker conversion rates at #mufc: Rooney 13%, Hernandez 15%, Van Persie 21%, Welbeck 24%.

I understand it perfectly, it is just incorrect to assume that it is a valid question. Eggs existed long before chickens.
Danny's having a very good season. Improving all the time. We've got a cracking young striker on our hands.
I don't want to get into Sturridge vs Welbeck comparisons because it's pointless but it does look like he suffers from the same problem as the other Daniel at Chelsea. They were throwing him as the wide / wing player and he looked immensely shit, always taking wrong decisions and basically crumbled when he was about to score a goal as a winger yet once he was moved to central striker position he's doing fantastic job for Liverpool. Same goes for Danny, just bad on the wing but scoring like crazy when in the #9.
He's done very well when RVP and Rooney were injured, gave us couple of points and yesterday he proved that he's still in form if he's played in the right position.
I think he is deliberately avoiding the clear original implication that it is a chicken egg that is meant. It allows him to make a sound but trivial evolutionary point.Ah, and all those hours wasted on philosophical debate! If only you could have been there to save everyone the time and the effort!

Damn skippy.
