Bit early for that sort of talk.
Nah, not just based on today, I just think he has it in him and it might be his season after under performing last season.

I dunno, I reckon De Gea will be pissed of that Welbeck's fannying about cost him his clean sheet bonus.
Im absolutely delighted for him, he will be a vital player for us this season and many many more.
I dont think he under performed last season at all, people just get blinded by the goal tally which admittedly was too low but he was played mainly as a winger, and he played very well.
Looking at Danny develop I feel that actually Rooney has to leave in order to allow him space to do so.
In Kagawa, Hernandez, Welbeck and RvP we have four players capable of scoring a lot of goals and if Welbeck really steps up then we won't miss Rooney's 15-20 goals this season. I still don't think we should sell to Chelsea but after watching Welbeck tonight I really want to see our homegrown talent flourish and I think Rooney gets in the way of that.

Can we declare today Moyesmas?Has already doubled last year's tally of league goals. It's a David Moyes miracle.

Yeah, he's had an awfully inconsistent season to date, agreed. He's still very inconsistent, but those goals will do him good.
Managing 2 goals every 90 minutes in the league. Sort it out Danny Boy, inconsistent piece of poo.Yeah, he's had an awfully inconsistent season to date, agreed.

Yes. And Pele.Jesus, you guys just can't take any bit of criticism? Can you? He had a good game today, scored 2 good goals, made a bit of a cock up for Swansea's goal though. What do you expect me to say? He's the reincarnation of Puskas, Best & Maradonna? I didn't know we had become RAWK.
Come on, you can't say someone is still inconsistent when they've had a perfect start to the season. It just sounds ridiculous.Jesus, you guys just can't take any bit of criticism? Can you? Yeah but he gave the ball away in a silly area, ergo Lynk was always right about the lad. He's shit, lets sell him.
Hello RAWK. Yes just ignore the bit where I'm crediting him.

The only quality you have originally attributed to him is that he is inconsistent, you didn't give him credit until people called you on it!!
I've said it before, and I stand by it...he's gonna become a better player then Rooney ever was.
He's also gonna be our best player in a few years.
He said "still inconsistent". The "still" part is the problem. The natural way to judge a players form is over the current season. And Welbeck has been very good so far. As the season goes on maybe we will see that the "inconsistent" criticism can still be applied. But not yet...You can. It's been a few games and while Welbeck has been fantastic so far, that doesn't automatically mean that suddenly all of his inconsistencies have disappeared for good. Like I said though, hopefully he'll start to get rid of that this season and the signs so far suggest that he could do.

The season has had one game, and two if you count the Community Shield. I'm confident Welbeck is going to have a very good season and hopefully he will get rid of that inconsistency and erratic side of his game, but he's not wrong in saying that Welbeck is generally an inconsistent player and you can't automatically dismiss it after one or two games.
He's a fecking striker. He scored twice. I hope every fecking game he is just as " inconsistent".Scores two goals today, 1 big mistake costs us a goal.
I don't see how inconsistent isn't a fair word?
