Ok. I'd be interested to find out how he plays vs AZ because, I can see you signing him.Game just kicked off.

The game is so slow and he's playing mostly on the left, I really don't think he'd add much to us and if we'd really wanted him then the deal would have been done weeks ago, he'd be nothing but a desperation buy at this stage.
He is capable of passing forward which something we cant say about any of our midfielders except for Herrera atm. He would be a squad player I think useful squad player like how Park Ji Sung was or Oshea but not like Scholes or anything. I would not mind him if he wasnt the only player coming in.
He would have improved the starting Xi yesterday... And for the next month or so given shaws injuryWe have enough squad players and I rather not waste £20m on another one. Need to improve the starting 11 rather worrying about the bench.
What's the score?Subbed out. Perhaps is last game for Ajax, or not who knows.
What's the score?
Saw him against Manchester City 2 years ago and he was class. He is shit. Play him in midfield against decent opponents and he'll look like Fletcher yesterday. Saw him last year with Ajax 2x against Red Bull Salzburg (very good side though) and he looked completely clueless against a strong pressing team. His lack of quickness was also found out rather quickly.

I agree. But would he improve the first XI when everyone is available? I reckon that is what LvG is talking about when he says he is only interested in players who will improve the selection. At the same time I think he would provide a good option at DM, LB and LCB.I think he would have made a big difference yesterday. Would have actually fulfilled the holding role, tracking midfielders back to our box while also helping us with our passing. And we'd have had an actual option for left fullback instead of Ashley Young

Charlie Adam could walk into our midfield.Thought he looked decent. Would walk into our midfield

I don't get all the hate - he is very useful utility player, who could plug in the areas where we are desperately light - LWB and CM. Sure Shaw should be a starter at LWB, but I'd rather have Blind as a backup than what we have right now - same thing for the CM position. To say that he cannot cope against decent opponents is ridiculous - I watched him against Spain, Australia, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina and Brazil - there is plenty of decent opponents there and he didn't do too bad - he did his job well, was disciplined and I remember at least 2 assists and a goal. Sure he made a couple mistakes too, but who didn't... For me he is the perfect signing - not necessarily a first team starter, but I'm sure he will get 20+ games in the season, he knows LVG's methods, he wouldn't mind spending time on the bench, he is young, in fact I think he would've started against Swansea and improved us a lot.He is shit. If they want this lad I wish they would just do it? Instead they will mess about chasing players who don't want to come here. Then last minute go after him leaving him in no doubt he is 10th choice, Surely you do the easy transfers, get them done early then concentrate on the hard ones. This probably could have been tied up straight after the World Cup.

Woodward gave the impression Unietd would sign a midfielder like Vidal given his claims about United's financial power, so then blind will feel like a let down and a bit underwhelming, for some. As a sitting midfielder he'll be fine I think. He'll have the wing backs helping and three centre halves too.I don't get all the hate - he is very useful utility player, who could plug in the areas where we are desperately light - LWB and CM. To me Blind and Vidal are independent signings, both needed. Vidal would be a first team starter at CM, Blind will be an utility player, providing backup at 2-3 positions.Woodward gave the impression Unietd would sign a midfielder like Vidal given his claims about United's financial power, so then blind will feel like a let down and a bit underwhelming, for some. That's a fair point. As I see it, I don't see you singing Vidal though. Rojo, Blind and or Vidal would be decent business even though these deals should have been sealed before he season started. To me Blind and Vidal are independent signings, both needed. we need another source to shed more light on this blind affairAccording to a few journalists, he's a target for us. Ian Ladyman even reporting that we're in talks with Ajax.
Rojo, Blind, Vidal and Di Maria would be brilliant, but it's not going to happen. Even if we miss on Vidal, but get the other three is still going to be brilliant...That's a fair point.
