Never said he's as good as Busquets. Just that he's a similar type of player. He isn't a patch on Busquets as a player though. I'm not sure it's a valid comparison.

Saw that in the paper on the way home. Probably utter BS, some bloke with somewhat long hair was seen house hunting. Would a be a decent move now though with Shaw out for the month. I'd take em for 15milProbably complete bs but for what it's worth...http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...d-househunting-in-the-north-west-9666824.html
Also isn't a centre half though.I'm not a huge fan but from what I have seen he is miles better than Rojo.
Also isn't a centre half though.
Rojo is a centre half who played out of position in the WC at left back. He'd be on the left of our 3, I doubt we'd see much of him at wing back.I didn't think either were? Can Rojo play as a centre half?
Rojo is mainly a CB.I didn't think either were? Can Rojo play as a centre half?
It's the simplest. £12-15m and ajax would accept. Can't be that hard. If van Gaal wants him, and Woodward can't close that deal, then there's something wrong with him.He is obviously plan B for DM, like Rojo was for LCB, otherwise I imagine this would have been done a while ago, as transfer go this sounds like an easy one one to complete.
More and more it looks like artificially created saga. One interview when player just answering the question about what he would do if Louie gave him contract in United and the press already portray it as a legit deal.
According to ESPN, his agent was at the gamePlease sign this man to improve us tactically and technically at the back either as a screen in front of the defense or as the left-sided player of the back three. If we're going to rely on this system, we really need players who know how to react at each stage of the game. our defenders were woeful against Liverpool and Valencia and then we get this performance today... We're crying out for a player like Blind.
Can't believe fans would accept such a low level signing. We need to start looking at the top shelf because that's where we belong.

City and Chelsea managed to do so when they were in a much worse position, why can't we? We can bridge the gap with money, we do have the means to do so. If we don't, why are we signing all these big deals for? What makes you think we can attract top shelf players right in the position we are in?
For what it's worth I agree with you, Daley Blind would be a meh signing but right now the likes of Hummels and Benatia aren't gong to consider us.

I saw a tweet in the tweets section.Where did ESPN say that?

Blind, last season, was the Eredivise player of the year. Hardly low level. Can't believe fans would accept such a low level signing. We need to start looking at the top shelf because that's where we belong.
Everyone going off that tweet, I see nothing on their site.
Here's the bit about Blind's agent at reportedly Old Trafford.
You don't "belong" anywhere in football. If you're good enough to be top, they you're good enough to be top. You've got no divine right to be top. Can't believe fans would accept such a low level signing. We need to start looking at the top shelf because that's where we belong.
Blind isn't a mediocre player. He's a good player who fits the description of what we need. We also need to sign Vidal because Fletcher has demonstrated he cannot do the job alongside Herrera vs stiff opposition.
