Daily Mail

I thought of you the other day driving along, when a man came on the radio saying... 'and he had a dog called Colin, nice name for a dog, Colin.'

Blimey...

The body isn't too bad, but Jones is as ugly as sin.
You have to cut her tongue out to stop her speaking. Love the way she moans about the outfits being uncomfortable but freely admits to having cosmetic surgery done. She is a whirlwind of double standards and hypocrisy. And ugly as sin.

I feel sorry for her, the desperate old slapper. Her husband only married her to get a leg up on the literary ladder and dumped her as soon as he got a rung above. The Mail should stop giving her a platform for self-abasement.

Obscene cards that sully the message of Christmas: Sexual, profane and anti-Christian messages on display to children
  • Cards sport obscene, offensive and even anti-Christian messages
  • Stationery chain Scribbler stocks explicit cards in full view of children
  • Childs Eyes UK say cards are 'not appropriate' for children
  • Scribbler defended the display saying it appealed to younger adults

Actually have some sympathy with their views here, albeit without the hand-wringing and moralising. I went in Scribbler this morning to try and get my mother Christmas and birthday cards, but they were all crap. The biggest display in the shop was dedicated to sweary ones- not sure my 69 year old mother would appreciate 'Happy Christmas you grumpy twat'.

Most people were unaware of those cards until these idiots announced them to the world.

Immigrants everywhere!!

Oh yea and a big massacre or whatever, flick to page 6 for that.

The story is that young British people are finding it increasingly difficult to get places to train as nurses as the NHS increasingly looks to recruit from abroad, which should obviously be a concern for both the left and the right.

But yeah, because it concerns immigration, let's ignore this obviously serious issue and instead resort to self righteous irony.

I actually read the article after coming into work after seeing them. I'm not offended or anything, just think that the notion that a swear word in itself constitutes comedy is somewhat puerile. Seriously though, you can't miss them if you go in Scribbler.

There's a Cards Galore opposite it at Hammersmith Broadway:p

Me neither really- think that shop used to be called something else. To be honest you see the shop sells cards and you don't really care about its name.

I saw a post on Facebook from some bloke who produced some of the cards they were hand-wringing about. He was delighted about the free publicity.

My colleague named his baby daughter Anais last year and has had a serious sense of humour bypass about any such pronunciation of her name.

Bet she has to manage those eyebrows.
