I just cannot understand why the board are dragging this out. Mourinho is never going to win back the players, and things will only get worse. Let Carrick and McKenna run things, until they find the right manager. If they let things go on we will end up in Mid-table at best.

Except most people starting shouting "club is a shambles" "were a mess" "not very classy" etc.
So the board read this and think ah shit they dont want him sacked... give him more time.

Makes complete sense to leak it to the guy who usually gets his info from the club. If it's done diligently then Jose's camp look blameless and it looks like the leak has come for United. I'm playing devils advocate here by the way. It's probably from United - which is much worse. We look fecking foolish now. He's staying until after the international break now, unless Ed is totally fecking brain dead.
It would be very interesting if Mourinho could turn it around but it looks like half the players don't care, he'd have to have some special motivation skills to win back everyone to his side. I'm worried about going close to the relegation zone.I fully expect us to lose four of the six games immediately after the international break, regardless of who's in charge (Chelsea away, City away, Juve x2) - if the club are looking to guillotine the manager, it makes more sense to do it after that run of fixtures.
Think of the number of dreadful, anaemic performances at home to poor PL sides over the last few years. It's not much of a stretch to see a mind-numbing 0-0 or 1-1 today or even a 1-0 away win. Teams like Newcastle just come and sit in and at times it's not too difficult to stifle United's zombie paced football.

I agree. Not to forget José's shat on nearly everyone involved with the club at some point since being here - the board, us fans, the players. I don't get it either but the fans who attend the games really seem to have taken Fergie's speech to heart. I've been to games under José and have never sung his chant, but to each their own. I mean, I hope it doesn't happen because he's taking us for a ride here, but I'm 99% sure it will.

We'll get hammered in those games, regardless. They are just far better sides and even a new manager bounce won't be enough to get us through unscathed. Not a great start for the new man (whoever he is). Better to let the current guy take the mass criticism and humiliation (if you've already decided he's for the chop anyway).
