I wasn't around but willing to bet that the toxicity levels were not comparable in the slightest eitherDifferent times entirely.

It’s almost unreal. Can’t watch the match today. We really need a win but it feels less likely with all this happening. I wonder if walk up sales will fill the seats. What a shitty thing to wake up to.
The ridiculous thing is the club seemingly bottling this decision makes them look even worse than they did last night. Impressive.
The man just unknowingly proved his opening statement "Football fans have the shortest memories"Yeah, the Valencia game was very different! We had one shot on target at half time so not even comparable!
Me too, but I think the damage has been done and the support will be loud and clear. Mourinho will play to the galleries too. It's nailed on, did the same at Chelsea too if I'm not wrong.God I hope not.
Nor the expectation levels. Manchester United is a much bigger club now and our managers have far greater luxuries. Sir Alex never had such luck and had to build from the ground (somewhat) up.I wasn't around but willing to bet that the toxicity levels were not comparable in the slightest either
God I hope not.
Or force the board to pay up quickly and not try and bargain with Mendes around the settlement itself. From what i'm reading, this was a Mendes leak to the mirror. I think a meeting obviously happened to discuss the current issues, but i'm now starting to believe Mendes leaked the story to drum up short term support.
Club should also search for the bastard who leaked it from inside the club without them knowing and sack or fine him at least.
Backed or not, is there much point keeping him here? The players clearly don't want to play for him.
For every game we win were gonna be shit in another one.

lol, same here.so if we win today it settles down for a bit with the international break. not sure what to think now, I was resigned to him gone
I'm one, but I'm sure there are others who will literally never believe a word the guy says now after this. For a guy that was up there with the country's best journalists, this is going to be devastating to his career and life in general if it's found to be false. If it's been leaked to him, he better be exceptionally sure of the source. I mean, it's still his fault for believing it but I have great sympathy for what he is about to go through if proven wrong.
We know what our fans are like. José's going to get a big cheer today I reckon. His song will break out, too.God I hope not.
Read the quotes done my Mirror. It can't be Mendes leaks by any means. It's someone stupid enough inside the club leaked it to this journo without the club knowing.
If that was a Mendes, it will be everywhere. See what he wss doing when Ronaldo was pressing Madrid, he spreads the news to every journo not one from Mirror.
This is simply an exclusive source from inside the club leaked news to Mirror without the club knowing about it, and now they're moving to deny it.
But why? Support the team, not the manager who is bringing it down.We know what our fans are like. José's going to get a big cheer today I reckon. His song will break out, too.
There were no obvious signs in their first few years with Sir Matt and SAF either.

Or maybe they're waiting for us to lose, then the narrative shifts back to Jose and the fans will again be on his back. Fans flip flopping in their opinions is causing a problem as well. Can we just stop being influenced by the press and pundits and just look at things on the pitch? The manager is not improving us, let's not get distracted by other things.so if we win today it settles down for a bit with the international break. not sure what to think now, I was resigned to him gone
Think how weird the mood will be if we win today, how the feck has it come to this?
No it's easy to do. Mendes' camp may just have leaked this info on the stepulation that it gets printed that the info came from United. That's what I'd do to make sure United look bad.
How are we sure it's the club's leak?

They really don't. People will still buy the papers or click on the stories without reading who even wrote it. In football people believe what they want to believe. There's no journalistic standards or integrity in the English football media.
Newcastle are fecking awful. Will be amazed if we don't win, even in the form we are in.
Jose Mourinho may win a small stay of execution at Manchester United - but he's still lost the confidence of the Manchester United board.
I actually think it wasn't an organised leak from the club as I believe more journalists would have known. Think it's someone who just ran their mouth without thinking.Mendes would have leaked it several journos and several newsapaer, not to someone from Mirror.
Last year when Ronaldo had his tax problems and told Mendes to leak his desire to leave to press Madrid, Mendes leaked it to even Stones at BBC himself.
There's no reason Mendes will go exclusively to a Mirror journo. Mirror isn't even that trustable to leak things to. Makes zero sense.
I agree. Not to forget José's shat on nearly everyone involved with the club at some point since being here - the board, us fans, the players. I don't get it either but the fans who attend the games really seem to have taken Fergie's speech to heart. I've been to games under José and have never sung his chant, but to each their own. I mean, I hope it doesn't happen because he's taking us for a ride here, but I'm 99% sure it will. But why? Support the team, not the manager who is bringing it down.
Shades of Delia Smith....and Gary Neville will be cheerleader bedecked in green and gold
