Suit yourself. The problem however lies much deeper than José Mourinho, the people above him are incapable of running a football club.

At the end of the day the simple issue is he doesn’t play the right football, his tactics are dated and that has nothing to do with Ed and his boys. We can go on about how poor the board is in a different arguement. With regards to Mourinho, he’s got himself to blame I’m afraid. I don’t quite get the rest.

I felt much more ashamed when Jose embarrassed the fans and club durimg/after Sevilla, this is nothing in comparison.

One of the hundred or so employees at the club. It could even be the intern involved with the paperwork
Yeah I’m sure they all know and paperwork is done on the sacking before it takes place.

This club has changed beyond all recognition.

Current bookies fav is still Zidane. 2nd fav is Brendan Rodgers. Conte is 3rd.
Paddy Power has Poch as 2nd fave, Rodgers 3rd and Conte 4th. Poch would be ideal although can't see us getting him.

Always been a big fan of Jose, always wanted him to replace saf. But his time here has been as disaster. It's almost as if he couldn't care less. Living in a hotel, we've had no identity whatsoever at any point. In some ways it's a little sad but in other ways it's about time.

I don't get Nevilles reaction. Jose has lost it. I don't see an alternative tbh.
Who cares about the hotel, really.
Neville's comments were more about the way it's being handled.

His comments are more about the way it's been done (again) with leaked information.

It is and it isn’t. He said no one can succeed under the way the club is run. We shall see. We’ve sacked managers when they needed to be sacked. Once again I’m not sure what his problem is. We didn’t sack a title winning manger.

What happens to Jose's backroom staff if he goes? Do they go as well? We still never found out with Rui left.

Faria left to have a break from football

I'd imagine Carrick and McKenna will be safe in their jobs

IIRC you were the poster who was very confident about Mourinho taking over months before he did.

Do you think he will be sacked?

He will, no doubt about that. Its a good call since he will struggle to turn this around now. The problem is how we do things at the moment and the timing. We are a disgrace.

I think his problem is clear. The leaking to the press. It was disgraceful the manner in which we sacked LvG and similarly so it seems to Mourinho.

Club is being run badly but I don't care about Mourinho. He is a good manager in many ways but I have always disliked him and I didn't think much of him as United manager anyway.

That said, we could easily be worse off this time next year...

What are the reasons why Pochettino wouldn’t come here now?

It's 1/4 of the way through the season and his teams in a better position than us. If he wants the job it will still be up for grabs in the summer.

I find it funny that some people feel hurt on Jose's behalf and demand he gets shown respect. This is a man who has disrespected numerous people throughout his career and treated several people like shit. He'd throw anyone under a bus to protect his ego. He deserves no respect from us so feck him, good riddance.
Agreed. Horrible man

Deluded, is he really so out of touch?

You honestly think this is the right way to go about it as a club? Neville is spot on.

Clear as day Jose would be going sooner than later but this is a total shambles, another shambolic episode to add to the many over the last 5 years.

This isn't how we should be handling things. Again the media have been massive this season regarding the club

1) I don't see him jumping ship mid-season.
2) I don't see Woodward negotiating with Levy and paying the money to get him out of his contract.
Couldn’t he literally just resign though and we would compensate him handsomely for doing so.

You’re a staunch Mourinho fan. Pretty sure you support him more than you support the club. I could be wrong but doubt it.

Oh. You were trying to be funny. Pretty sure I supported United long before Mourinho was here so you can stick that shit back up your arse.

Yeah I’m sure they all know and paperwork is done on the sacking before it takes place.
You're joking right? Have you never worked at an office? The termination letter is often prepared immediately the decision is made.

That's not really a concern tbf. Even Levy can't hang on to a manager who wants to feck off. If Poch tomorrow goes to Levy that he wants to leave, what's Levy going to do? Demote him to managing the reserves until he's up for managing the first XI again?

I just don't think he'll jump ship midway though.

If this is true then if we are honest it’s the correct decision but done in the worst possible way. That being said this could now be the biggest appointment we have ever made. Get this wrong and we will become Liverpool of the 90’s. I would give it to carrick until the end of the season as our season is over anyway as we won’t win the league or Europe. I would get in the DOF very quickly so that he has time to identify the next manager and future signings/sales.

Tomorrow could be the 1st day that the Red Devil’s are reborn

Gary Neville can go on about lost values, but what about the values directly related to Mourinho's job? Boring, risk averse, awful football. No harmony in the squad, and no grace when interviewed as a manager of this team.
United prides itself on being an attacking, adventurous team and he has flat out gone against it.

Neville just picks a side to fit his agenda, not wanting the manager out but questioning where this club has gone. Mourinho isn't the only problem but his behavior and the performances have been awful for too long.
