Cuadrado

His reps could've been in the city and we were quoted too much, so we told them to feck off.

I see nothing special in this guy, but I admit I haven't seen him in the World Cup.
Anybody else think his trick won't work in the Premier League?

"Cuadrado , woh ho"
"Cuadrado , woh ho woh ho"
"He came from fiorentina "
"Instead of di Maria"

What's his trick? Can't be any worse than the Ashley Young dummy or the Valencia shin breaker.

I don't know how it's called, but he tends to go to the right, often from the ball standing still (Nani-esque). Just kicks it and runs. You can find it on any YT compilation.

Selfishness is a good trait for a wingback. Shows he has the confidence to do it alone. Both Valencia and Rafael rely on an overlapping runner to get the best out of them.

Cuadrado , woh ho woh ho,
Cuadrado , woh ho woh ho,
He wore a purple kit,
And now he plays like shit!

Silent today when asked about a move to Barca or United . But signed a Barca shirt. Which we all know means nothing.

Watching the game today we lacked abit of a shit hot presence on the right. Young is doing a solid job but this guy for me is worth going in for.

i havent seen enough of him, but can he beat a man like lets say robben can. not just beat a man, but when he gets the ball the defenders will fear him. Defenders look at young and valenica and think its only young and valencia. When robben gets the ball, they get afraid

This guys fee is 40m surely if Di Maria is available we should go for him at 50m instead.

The Spanish press seem to think Barcelona will finally bid (they've only been preparing a bid so far - where have I heard that before) and that they may be ready to offer €40m (including bonuses). They're also describing the stories in the British press like The Independent, about United's interest cooling, as good news for Barca.

It's thought Fiorentina want around €40m, whereas Madrid may be looking for €60m. The reality is no one knows what these players will sell for. If there's no auction between United and Barca over Cuadrado, his price may fall because Fiorentina need the money.

On the other hand, Madrid don't need to sell (unless they do move for Falcao) and potentially could say no even to a 60m+ bid. That's the gamble we take if we move for Di Maria.

Madrid want to sell di Maria to get money to buy Falco.
We need a winger and LVG rates di Maria.
I'd say we were in for Cuadrado but when di Maria signalled his interest we went all out for him.

It sounds as if both United and Barca have cooled their interest in him.

Meaning, no one has a fecking clue where he's going.

I was mad for the Vidal signing, and fairly keen on Di Maria at first...... but after dragging on for so long, and with the stupid amounts of money being banded around, I'm now far more excited by Rojo, Blind & Cuadrado - This is because I've always preferred it when United bring in a player with potential over the finished article. Players like Vidal are already at the peak of their powers, and will come in and want the play the game their way, whereas potential can be molded into the United way

I watched City's mega bucks players on Sunday and was appalled. They didnt seem interested. With the so-called genuine City fans giving up their season tickets in disgust and their home grown being sold or getting a chance, I'd HATE it if United ever got like that

The difference is our midfield actual needs a quality player like Vidal. It's an area that has been neglected for far too long. And we have bought in young players like Herrera and Shaw.

Our only hope is he doesn't have any big champions league clubs interested and nearing the deadline be may choose to come here rather than sit on the bench for Madrid. Wing back my not be his favoured role though.

The United way of playing midfield for the last several seasons is not something we want to mould players too.

Not bothered if he chooses Barcelona.

Don't think he's £40m better than our current options at RWB.
