Christ; he said he is unhappy. He also said he "will be happy in a few days". Papers are building it up. Nothing story here.

Maybe he's after an improved contract, mate?

In the link SteveJ posted they say that he told Florentino that he wants out, there's something bothering him and Mourinho or even his agent, who is very close to him, don't know what his problem is. What a timing if true... just one day after the transfer window closes. Hope this will all blow over soon.

Even if we assume Ronaldo wants to leave , we can surely never afford him.

Not only the fee but his wages too.

So if he goes to sugar -daddy clubs, one can hardly blame him.

However, he will stay at Real imo.

If not us, I'd like to see him at Barca, for the drama.

He'll never go for more than 80 million nor will he go to City or Chelsea or PSG. The same player that says he's sad, who says Fergie is like a 2nd father to him, with a crowd that mostly still adores him 'considering they sing about him all the fecking time' and a manager that has always stated that should he ever want back the door is always open.

The prodigal son returning home. Nike would cream themselves at the marketing opportunity.

"I'm sad. But I won't tell why."

What is he? A 13 year old girl?

I remember when Fergie subbed him off and he threw a strop with Fergie just stood there.

Overall he has been good to us.

ferguson took shit from ronaldo that even rooney wouldn't get away with because ferguson knew ronaldo was the most mercurial talent he ever had.

BUT,

Ferguson has always had a LOT of time for ronnie. He's never questioned ronnie being a fat unfit cnut like wayne. He's never talked about ronnie questioning the club's ambition like wayne.

Ferguson always has spoken glowingly about ronaldo. He even spoke on how intelligent ronaldo was and that ronnie was an avid reader and discuss books sometimes.

Keano (a man that takes shit from no one) has stated that ronnie is a consummate professional and hard worker and winner.

IF ronaldo even hints about wanting to come back, i would dump rooney for whatever we can get to city and spunk 9 digits on ronaldo. That's right, 100,000,000 pounds direct wire to madrid.

Afterall, aren't we supposedly the 'biggest club in the world'. :smirk: Or are interest fees more important than bringing home Ronnie?

His buy-out clause is about £800,000, I'd rather pay that :P

I think they are very similar personalities. Born winners, stubborn, perfectionists. Fergie knows all too well how things can happen in the heat of the moment, so im not surprised that he gives him some leniency. Ronaldo has never let him or us down either so it works out perfectly in the end. R7 was born a Manchester United player, he is.

if ronaldo is ever going to leave madrid i hope we'll be in for him and he will honour his second father by rejoining us. it would be good to know if it is fergei >>> sugar daddy money or the opposite for him.

Wasnt that CQ?
Anyway.. the wages wont be an issue.. it'll be the transfer fee..
And.. never go back.

He'll stay at Madrid.

We'll always love u Ronnie !! forever i'm sure u have heard of this but... IT'S TRUE :)

His buyout is €1bn, what ever that works out in pounds.

Buyouts only apply in Spain don't they? We're free to buy him then, right??

I think he'll end up signing the new contract.

Love Ronnie very much just so glad we dont have to deal with this bullshit anymore!!! GO ON RON!!

He's still on his contract on which he signed for Madrid. It's a new contract negotiation time.

He's not coming back. As I said, I just hope he doesn't go to City or Chelsea because a lot of league titles will be going to whoever he moves to if he does indeed leave. I don't think anything will come of this though. Whatever it is, it will be sorted.

I doubt he'll stay will Madrid much longer, especially if they win another league or the CL this year. Another comment or two like the one he made, and the fans will quickly turn on him, which wil in turn expedite his disdain. Hard to believe he's still just 27. The sugar Daddy clubs will be on alert.

 He sounds so petty and immature. Footballers and their fragile egos eh...

The lad's apparently had a bit of a meltdown. As I mentioned in the Liga thread he commented after the match that he hadn't celebrated his goals because he was feeling sad, about his professional life, things in the club and that people in the club knew what was was wrong.

Of course all hell has now been let loose around Real(ity Show) Madrid. Loads of speculation about why. Ranging from, "he wants more money," at one end to him feeling as if he's always having to prove himself to the press, the fans, the club and he's fed up of the dissection of every piece of body language or facial expression - though of course he's given them a mountain for dissection now.

There's a suggestion it may be linked to how the non-Spanish players, and the Portuguese in particular (like Coentrao), are viewed as the hired help.

So, popcorn anyone?
I'm not sure I want this to become serious to the point where he wants to leave. Because I can only see the super daddy clubs being able to afford him. And we'd be fecked if he went to Chelsea or City.
