Just because people don't like Ronaldo's style or personality, it doesn't make them a 'Ronaldo hater' or 'Messi fan boy'.
Worse, I haven't seen Messi ever diving, but I don't watch Barcelona that often. He can get kicked, stabbed and he still runs (not the same can be said about his team mates, but whatever). Ronaldo on the other hand...
So what? 3 examples from all of the years he has played? And neither of them looked like a concrete dive. Soft penalties maybe, but in all of them there was a contact.
Ronaldo dives like the wind blew him
lol
well that proves it

That's what makes Messi so likeable. He usually ends up getting kicked off the park or rugby tackled to earn a free kick, rarely ever wins his own penalties simply because he can stay on his feet, thus the ref won't deem it to be a foul.
One day it'll cost him a serious injury though.
Saying he doesn't dive is the biggest lie there is. Paint him as the saint and Ronaldo the sinner when in reality Messi will take advantage of poor refereeing and con them whenever he's not getting his own way, just like Ronaldo does.
naaah, the bigger lie is saying that messi dives as everybody
and it was you who said it
3 examples of all his years is a clue you wont see
"I've never seen Messi dive!"
"That's a lie..."
"SHOW ME A VIDEO OF HIM DIVING!"
*Posts video of Messi diving*
"SO WHAT?"
I don't consider any of them dives. Not penalties definetly, but dives?

it is not about his goals, it was about his diveI think it is time to move all this into a relevant thread now.
One can't even bump the Ronaldo thread with his goals without creating a shite storm these days!
it is not about his goals, it was about his dive
remember? he dived today? shamelesly?
That's what I can't stand about him. He's much like Sebastian Vettel in the sense that people like them and think the sun shines out of their arse when the reality is that they'll do absolutely everything to win and that includes blatant cheating. Messi is a petulant little shit when it suits him and there's enough evidence of that both on and off the pitch yet because Ronaldo is the arrogant one on it, people side with Messi.
I actually think it's worse to be the hidden bastard instead of the one that's in your face because people tend to be blind to what you're actually capable of.
i guess not, but people come here to say it was ok for him to diveSomeone's cranky.
Indeed, I have eyes mate. However, it really does not warrant several pages worth of discussion.
Just read this
incoming!
Messi has scored '32' penalties in ELEVEN yrs. Ronaldo has scored '42' in FIVE yrs.
i guess not, but people come here to say it was ok for him to dive
thats the discussion
If this is an 'anti-Ronaldo' point (I can't tell for sure, don't usually venture into the utter swamp that is this thread), it would be stronger if it wasn't the case that Messi has started to miss a fair number of penalties over the last few years, particularly in big games. With that in mind, this reads a lot like a complement to Ronaldo.
i only brought messi when matherto said that he dives as eveyone elseThat's fair enough, I suppose to feel I suppose. But at some point it just becomes a bit silly when the same posters are at it like clockwork and bringing Messi into it.
Edit: Not talking about you alone btw. Just to clarify.
ELEVEN is thrown there just to make the stat more interesting. He became Barca's penalty shooter I think only in 2008-2009 (and even on that year, Eto'o took one/a few of their pens). So, it is basically on six years.
Also, Messi misses more pens than Ronaldo.
i only brought messi when matherto said that he dives as eveyone else
i was only talking about how ronaldo dived
I've seen acts of petulance from him on the pitch, every single player has it in them. You're not human if you don't, but we're talking about cheating here, and it's something Messi never does. You can pick the odd moment from his earlier years (like the hand ball goal he scored), but simply put he's the only player in the world who will not go down unless his legs are taken away.
Anyone who has a go at him for being a diver is a complete and utter cnut and should be ignored. We're constantly berrating those who do it week in week out and looking for ways to stamp it out, yet the one player in the world who should be looked at as an example is being, let's face it, villified by bitter Ronaldo fans. I'd like to think the Real Madrid faithful were a bit more sensible than that.

The other one shall stay in his own thread
There's been a lot of shit spouted in the last 2 pages but this tops it all.I've seen acts of petulance from him on the pitch, every single player has it in them. the truth is, that you cant talk about one without bringing the other
it's just like that, they are both the best players of the las 7 or 8 years and have been competing with each other since ronaldo moved to spain
not comparing both is impossible, and it will always happen
Well, it is TheShedEnd to be fair. That's his job. There's been a lot of shit spouted in the last 2 pages but this tops it all.
go to messi thread and ask for Cal?I agree, but people from the Messi camp are frequently in here talking shite about Ronaldo. I don't think that is far from the truth, even if I'm biased.

Glad to see that penalty given just on the basis that the defender is a moron for tugging at him like that. Dive or not, don't be fecking stupid enough to do that.
As for Ronaldo, not much to say, best player in the world and just destroying everything in front of him.
Funny how soon commentator start mentioning Maradona. Both cheats. Only thing now remains for Messi is to take drugs. Who knows, he might actually be doing it

just noticed he didnt went straight to the ref after his first goal
pffffffffft
go to messi thread and ask for Cal?
here some more examples:
or posters only spout shite about ronaldo?
o noooooes!!!!!!! theres a guy i dont know who say he laughs at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Your tears over Ronaldo make me laugh. You and the shed end are brilliant to laugh at after every Real game.
your mumYou discuss things like a child.
For the record, the point I was originally making was that the defender is an idiot for tugging at Ronaldo like that. Do that and you give him every chance of going down and winning a penalty. I never praised Ronaldo or said it wasn't a dive. Sort yourself out.
The funny/pathetic thing is it's actually only United fans doing that.I've seen acts of petulance from him on the pitch, every single player has it in them.
