He is on course for a second consecutive Ballon D'or though. Can't see anyone else winning it. He only needs to have an okay WC with Portugal in my opinion and he'd be odds on to win it. Unless of course some other bloke completely smashes it at the WC, though I don't see it personally. Brilliant footballer though, can't argue with that. I've always been a big admirer of him.

I also think scoring goals from August till the voting closes also plays a big role in the final results. Often the last memory influences one's vote.
I wouldn't be surpeised if Roy gave him a blow to the stomach for disrespecting him, no one touches Roy like that, not even his Mum.

Not necessarily, wasn't the case in 2010. If there's no absolutely outstanding player like the other Ronaldo was in 2002 then club honours will decide.

Because Queiroz was stupid and used him as a striker, limitating his potencial. He was supposed to know Ronaldo, after so many years at United. That tactical mistake was the begining of the end of their relationship. Scolari and Bento know how to use him.
