Here he is meeting with SAF

He's fecking wearing the Liverpool away kit there, the traitor.

He'll have to bulk up if he wants to play in England.

No coincidence that this rumour emerges a couple days before the new kit's out, I suspect he'll do the photoshoot tomorrow morning.

He has some dreams that fella.

I want this to happen although I don't think it will and I also don't want to see the fanboys cream themselves.

I think of him as our best ever player for those 3 years. But I really don't like the man.

Hold on, is the OP real or not? If not there's some wasted jizz on my iPad.

An appropriate correction.

With Ronaldo on the squad, the prem will be child's play -- unless Jose can somehow lure Messi to Chelsea, which is about as likely as Pope Francis joining Hezbollah. The only challenge for us will be the CL, which would be very doable even in light of what you know Bayern and Barcelona are going to throw at us next season.

A subplot perhaps, but it would be pretty hard to Rooney to walk out on United with the knowledge that Ronaldo has signed for United -- if that comes to pass over the next few days.

No, it's not real. It apparently even had "footyjokes.com" on it before the OP swiftly cropped and reuploaded the picture

This is the most disappointed I've been since that Christmas when my parents gave me an empty box with 'Playstation 0' stencilled on the outside.

You will be even more disappointed when he follows Jose to us!

Oscar---------Mata--------Hazard

Ronaldo---------Cavani

Now thats drool worthy!

#Ronaldo update. http://bit.ly/10WHbvN #MUFC

"According to reports, Ronaldo rejected a new contract at Madrid but our understanding is that this isn’t the case; he hasn’t rejected or accepted the contract offer. The player has asked his advisors to check if there is any possibility on his “dream move” to Manchester United. He has asked this request many times from our understanding. I believe the national papers will be running this story as well."

He mentioned a "dream move" to United, it's off. Let's see if the papers run this story tomorrow then.

'Dream move to United' - I genuinely laughed out loud at that. It's like one of those old jokes that Arrested Development unexpectedly reference randomly

Yeah but just having Ronaldo around has made SAF look 10 years younger.

Good news all round

So this is all full of shit then?

About Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid and returning to the club he spent at least a third of his time there trying to leave for that same Real Madrid? This makes too much sense not to be ON

This thread is going to end up breaking my heart you cnuts :(

This thread is going to end up breaking my heart you cnuts :(

Yes, yes it will! Yours and everyone else's, but in terms of muppetry, it's a once a in a lifetime opportunity!

Although we'll probably announce him signed tomorrow abd the thread will be moved to the united forum and this one chance of muppetry on the largest scale ever will be gone forever.

Seeing as his home is Madeira, I doubt they've got the cash. Their league would be a cake-walk if they got him though.

Here's more material for you my fellow muppets:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/te...naldo-says-sign-new-contract-Real-Madrid.html

Cristiano Ronaldo has put Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain on alert after indicating he will not renew his contract at Real Madrid beyond 2015.
Real are determined not to sell the Portuguese this summer but United and PSG remain keen when he does come available.
Alex Ferguson sold Ronaldo to Madrid in 2009, but the 28-year-old has admitted several times in the past few months that he is not totally happy in the Spanish capital.

Leaving Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo says that he will not renew his contract past 2015

Keeping everything open: Ronaldo may be open to a move back to old club Manchester United
Madrid President Florentino Perez had said that he expected Ronaldo to end his career at the club, but it now appears he could be looking for a new club in the next two years.
If Ronaldo is true to his word, he would be leaving on a free, not something Madrid are likely to want after having splashed out £80 million on him.
Whether he would move back to United now their manager has changed is yet to be seen, but he could emulate former boss Jose Mourinho by going back to a club he knew appreciated him completely.

We should have a sweepstake on when exactly he is going to sign his new bumper record breaking deal at Real Madrid.
